i knew about the super sailor moon and just resently found out about sailor saturn. But where did you find those dolls? saddly i don't have those two or sailor uranus or neptune. so most of the outer scouts i'm still looking for when i get them all i'm thinking about makeing a BIGG mov with all of them (including the SM bad guys i have) i saw super SM at an expo but she was being bought at the time. :(  the only limited edition dolls i have are Rubeus, Dr. Tomoe, and Prince Diamond.

Wow. Great video. I think its great that you have the patience enough to do stop-motion. I would have liked to have seen less references to the dub and more to the Japanese version. (although more people would understand the dub version than the Japanese). You did really well on the voice over. (I can't videos with crappy voice overs). Again, this is good stuff. LOL that was fun, I liked the idea of the story! :) (I constructive crit only because you said this was done for a class-) The major thing I was having trouble with was the voice & scene timing, it cut really fast, overlapped, and was hard to follow in a lot of places. It also was confusing because it seems all the voices were by one woman, and she did little to differentiate between voices. So with the fast cutting, audio overlapping scenes, & similarity in the voices it got a bit confusing.

No problem! :) Indeed! For your first Stop Motion it's not bad at all! :D If you want to make your stopmo look even better do things like keep the lighting consistent & be careful of moving things in the background as you animate the puppets. Also with animated camera moves, move the camera on the tripod in much smaller increments (basically in stopmo if you can really see you moved it you moved it too much LOL. As our professor told us.) Do some more and have fun! :)

sure your more than welcome to fav this! ^.^ also the animation style is called stop-motion animation. what you do is you postion the doll in the way you want and take a picture, then you move them a little bit take a pic. then move them a little again. and repeat. to make one sec of video you need 30 pictures! it's a lot of work but i love it it's alot of fun! good luck and if you want some more tip read the comments for more help. good luck and have FUN! thanks for watching!

Honestly all it is is take picture and move the doll slightly, take and picture move doll slightly, and repeat. when you put all the pictures together WA LA! you get animation! it's tons of fun you should try it!

you're looking for Sailor Mars? mars whas a pain for me to find, but i found her on ebay. At Anime Expo we have vendors that still sell Sailor moon stuff, not so much the dolls anymore. but all conventions are diffrent so you'd just have to go and see what the dealers have out. Hint: look in clearance sections. sometimes dealers just want to get ride of stuff and don't relize what they put in that bin. ^.^

that price isn't that bad seeing that it is a collecters item now. i spent $75 on Sailor Moon Stars manga #1. and that a really good price since it goes for $125+. and i understand now having the money for things like that, but if it's a good deal some times it's worth it insted of waiting and have it be $50 next time.
