I was at Cornerstone 2009 and couldn't see Underoath or TDWP hardly at all on the Gallery Stage. All I saw during Underoath's set was smoke and flashing lights.

SOOO many people couldn't see from even 1/3 back. it just wasn't a good stage for such a huge crowd. The festival personel were short on options and that was really the only viable one.

To let you in on a secret, even from the stage, Underoath was mostly smoke and flashes, :)
