For me I would take FSX because it's affordable for me and it don't take up a lot of disk space and it run pretty smooth on my Dell Inspiron 500m Laptop.

While I agree with that, don't forget that becoming a pilot is a tad above a typical allowance. Also, to get a PPL you have to be healthy enough (rules out a few more) and you can't be utterly stupid like the typical YT commenter asking such stupid questions like yours.
Becoming a doctor is also a tab above typical allowance. It cost me in excess of 70 grand to get my CFII but I still did it, my point was supposed to be for motivational purposes. Instead of trying to fly your computer desk, go actually fly.

umm...fsx takes FOREVER to load on multiplayer xplane it doesnt take any time at all...literally and the actuall game loads at least 3x faster and the graphics suck on fsx xplane 9 its amazing...the fsx is more of a recreational fun simulator

yea! i have been waiting soooo long! my 8.60 won't let me use my ch products pedals and my yoke at the same time.... :( it saddens me so...... has xplane 9 fixed that problem? it makes it a whole lot more realistic than a twist handle on the stick i have to have the yoke AND predals at the same time....SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER! this is sadly my life lol :)

Well, for one the graphics are a whole lot better and really make the game even more realistic. They also added a lot more static buildings and cars to make the cities look better. the increased the frame rate substantially which makes it go smoother, and the planes just all around fly better, not to mention that its easier to use joysticks with it.
No problem, the usual planes that come with x-plane 8.6 come with 9.0 BUT they are redone to be more accurate fliers and a couple of them already have the new windshield wiper feature on them. So the planes are the same, but they are just enhanced to be with 9.0, and to answer the question that comes up the most yes planes from 8.6 work with v9.0

of course it will the xplane's scenery itself to install needs 60 gigs and ur hard drive only has 40!! thats the problem.
