since 1991 and Israel is doing alot for the kurds. Many jewish personalities were involved to persuade the USA and Britain to make Kurdistan a defacto state. Paul Wolfowitz plan before the attack on Iraq was to create political freedom for the kurds.

Even in the 70ies Israel was very much against the USA policy when it came to the kurds. But the cold war prevented the American to continue helping the kurds. Now the cold war is over and we do need friends worldwide to gain our freedom.
