  • and the left engine has a feature where you can pop the front of it forward

  • and the glass on the engines come off

  • i have that toy haha

  • Hi Jedim4str,

Thanks for the review on the Y-wing. I use to have one when I was a kid except it had red strips instead of yellow. The Y-wing action vehicle looks good but the landing gear is in the wrong place. It should be right underneath the pilot... Look forward to your next review.

When you get a chance check out my drawing demo of the Y-Wing fighter. Let me know what you think!

    Thanks!

    Gordon

  • may have figured it out since you posted this video, but it does do more. the clear parts at the back of the engines can come off (not sure why) and the front of the left engine can actually be pulled forward to reveal some of the inner workings. i used to have one so i remember doing that

  • i disagree about the rating, it should be 10. it couldent have much other features i mean its a collectable, not a little toy kids play with.

  • My favourite ship of all time is the y wing

  • It's an R5 astromech droid. It's older than the R2 series. Which makes sense since the Y-Wing is older than the X-Wing witch uses R2 astrodriods (which are more advanced than R-5's).

  • I have done reviews of alot of them

  • Do you have the Titanium die cast ships?

  • I used to have one of them, god I loved those things back as a kid, although I love the Y-wing as an adult

  • My favorite Y-wing pilot was gold 5. He was the third rebel that was shot down by Darth Vader. Only one Y-wing pilot survived the first Death Star battle.

  • the y-wing is my personal favourite

  • It's painted like gold 2

  • which one better y wing or x wing

  • I have this model as well and you can also pull out the domes of it's engines :) I suppose you forgot to tell that feature hehe.

  • I have it too but I didn't know that!

  • dont know

  • how much are they in euro

  • go to ebay and type in e wing there is one for sail

  • how long is it

  • around 18cm or 7 inches I guess

  • Which one would this be? Would this be called the blue one?

  • no its the yellow standard one although yours is a later version than mine as it has the revised cockpit canopy design my red y-wing has the same low profile canopy as yours ,the blue y-wing has blue markings instead of the yellow markings on the top of the cockpit m8.

  • Yeah I saw some picutres of it last night. Its the markings around the cockpit and on the wing/engine parts that are darkish blue. When I bought this there were 2 others like this but with 2 different coloured canopies same yellow markings tho. I chose this one as I like the blue cockpit canopy and that it came with Gold leader mini figure. Thats why I thought this was the blue variant.

  • in fact id go as far as to say the blue variant is as rare if not rarer than the tie defender.

  • I have a blue-marking Y-Wing. Of course, I got it when I was still young enough to consider it a "toy" instead of a "collectible", so it isn't in the best condition, but it's still decent-looking and is probably in the best condition of all of the Action Fleet ships I still own.

  • Agree. However the TIE Defender is still hellish expensive. Fortunately I got mine for a reasonable price.

  • there are 3 versions ,the yellow one(standard) the red one (battle of endor) also my yellow y-wing has a taller cocpit and the very rare blue variant btw the R5 has flower pot head and the front of one of the engines pull out for maintence.
