Hi!

I have no idea about any of this kind of software but I'm doing a placement in a secondary school and I'd love to use this kind of animation for one of my lessons. I want to do some kind of mission impossible maths challenge thing. I don't have the money to buy the software that is required to make something like this but is there anyone out there that might want to help? I am sure things like this take hours and hours. I don't know why but Andrew Kramer does a great job but trained students won't get out of there, they just keep original style from author, you guyz should get outside the box and learn his tricks and "not copy his original creation"

Hey, how are you, saw this just thougt I'd put the facts straight, when I did this Andrew hasn't done his floral design, he actually sent me an email he was working on it, but that was when I've already shown him this, and yeah he's a great AE designer, and I've learnt alot from him, but saying I copied his style a hundred percent not when I did this design, check the day i posted the design and check Andy's video post date.

How can I pan crop in AE like in Sony Vegas?

There is no pan an crop, just go to your layer, down in your layer there is the scale/positions etc. Add keyframes for them, then you can change the size/position and that is pan/cropping essentially. If you want to pan/crop multiple layers the same, either copy the keyframes or just drag the whole composition into a new one and then that composition is only 1 layer and it will effect all the layers in it.

This is very simple to make, all you need is a text make it 3d, make a camera, use Pre matted Drops and a pre matted Reavel effect, and set the text to alpha matte"reveale" and it will fade in like it did in the clip here, as well as a background ( it can be any BG) just set a Curves effect to it and make it red / orange like, and make a new solid and round it out. make it red and fether the edges. Then it all comes down to simple camera movement, and a old film effect. thats it :)

Hi guys, I've got a bad problem right here and i hoped that someone could help me. Well i was trying to make a Title with After Effects CS3, i probably changed some settings but nothing happend yet, i was just messing around to make a title.. but when i closed my After Effects and I started it up again i couldn't see my text, so i pressed the type tool to type again, but even if i type i can't see it, it is not the color or something, it's just Invisible. Can someone help me please!?
