The reality of it is, the left hates righteousness.

A good example of this is their reaction to Miss California and then their reaction to water boarding. Remember what they said about water boarding? Our country is above that, we have a higher standard of conduct etc ... and then more complaining about people who think gay marriage is beyond strange and weird. The left doesn't have a standard, they just hate anything that makes good sense.

I find it amusing when laws regarding murder, theft, rape and the like are excepted by secularists as good and yet when a law say prohibiting sodomy is on the books they cry theocracy, when biblically, sexual laws are just as civil in nature as laws against murder are.

Your natural rights stem from your right to own your own will, conscience, and body. Because rape, murder and theft are obviously a violation of the victims rights by the aggressor, we say they are wrong and pass laws against it.

There is no aggressor or victim in sodomy. The act is consensual and not a forced violation of one's rights. The only reason you could possibly have for passing such a law is to force the amoral/immoral teachings of the Bible on people that do not share your view.
