  • I hate how they claim 2 know every bits of this universe, why can't they make themselves clear they're just theories... ? besides, I don't believe the universe is following a pattern in movement and such, I believe we're just floating through the "air", say, in a million years, we might be closer 2 another planet than the sun ! therefore I chose 2 believe we're not part of a pattern, everything happens randomly... that's my theory, what's urs ?

  • in this video it said : no liquid water has ever been found

well you're wrong, it's been found and it's been found a lot.

  • The forgot to mention the many mysterious moon bases that are obviously already there.

  • CAN A MOON HAVE ITS OWN MOOD ORBITING IT???

  • ssssssssssssssss maths.

  • well ive learned something from this - never buy a used car from an astrophyisist.

  • Water's been found the moon.

  • i dont understand at the end he said Moon moves away from the earth 4 cm per year and it was also said that it was created millions years ago where wolud that calculation place moon in the past and is moons present distance from earth realistic...or did moon started to move away from earth when we started to look at the moon...man took telescope and moon said hell NO ! stop peaking or i m outta here !

  • @booze505 ok.. lets go over simple math...

    4 cm = 0.04 m = 0.00004 km, right? understood this far? great...

now; 1.000.000 years X 0.00004 km = 40 km in million years.. r u aware what kind of pathetic small distance it is in space-wise? the distance between those 2 space objects varies from 356.400 km to 406.700 km...

so; even a billion (1.000.000.000) years of floating away = 40.000 km, is just 1/10 of the current distance...

comment on maths, when u can actually calculate.

  • sort of dodgy..

  • The rythmn of the earth & moon is 12 in 13, just like the hands on the clock. The minute hand is the moon, and the hour hand represents the sun's apparent motion. Same rythmn but obviously a different speed. The moon moves the equivalent of it own diameter in 1 hr, and 13 degrees in a day (same ratio of the lunar month 28 days). The correlation between the moon and menstrual cycle is well known. It all runs like clockwork.

  • BS! if Moon was created like that life wouldn't exist here and if life happened to be created afterwards, how the hell did the moon get to look so different to earth? Came up with some smart theories and don't believe it just cuz u saw it at national geographic

  • @julipj2004 theories are ideas not facts.

  • 5m20s I don´t need to be an astro phisicist to imagine what the collision would be like...DUH

  • do you really beleive this bullshit every evolutionist major flaw where thing dont add up is it was a collison its all nwo propaganda i recommend watch our solar system evidence for creation you tube done by a nasa yes nasa scientist

  • Damn 3,728 miles across, That's like almost the entire distance of the U.S.

  • The same will happen to us (dinosaurs) and then some other thing will evolve from that.

  • @SheMustDieStupid yeah, unless we colonize space

the moon will the the first step, then mars, then the jupitain and saturain moons, then comet and asteroids, then planetoids (pluto, ect.) and then the rest of SPACE.

if we get are butts off the planet and start building independent colonizes in space.

  • Moon has Water, ISRO confirmed this. NASA was hiding this fact from public for decades.

  • this science seems funny to me. I've never heard of acretion? if all these particles were floating around us, why doesnt' the earth have rings like saturn?

  • Very legitimate question indeed.

  • In a word, gravity. The gravitational fields of the moon and the earth would make a ring around the earth unstable. Keep in mind that the moon is much larger proportionately to earth than any of Saturns moons to that planet.

  • @diversitydog because they arnt thick enough.

  • @diversitydog you right. at least 1 stone should be here.

  • i find this narrator very relaxing lol

  • at 2:01 hes wrong. "saturn has the most with 46"

correction: jupiter has the most moons with 63

  • yh but its old, when they had only discovered so many

  • wanna smoke a joint

  • okay okay okay. now everybody who thinks that the apollo missions were hoax's ure head is up ure ass. why would they kill people just to make a hoax? u people are idiots

  • it seems that the appollo missions of the late 60s were faked, why has'nt man returned to the moon since then? They had JFK killed because he wanted to tell you that inhabitants swarm the dark side of the moon. This is evident the first appollo mission where astronauts voice transmissions are cut and kept secret.

  • i agree with baretta1983 i think its 100% true

  • u need to buy a telescope the moon landings were real why wud they lie ?

  • because, idiot, in the future there will be a war - which county would claim the moon.. it sounds silly today, but wait a couple 100's years. Americans were smart enough to "land" it.

They put the flag there as an evidence, but nobody REALLY knows if its really there! Just like the Russians put their flag in the arctic ocean floor - to claim it.

  • JFK was not assassinated because of the moon landing. He was shot because he wanted to get our country out of debt and create a debt free monetary system where the actual government would be in control of it rather than the federal reserve which is a privately owned bank who creates money out of thin air and loans it to us with interest on it. And no one lives on the moon, go out with a telescope & see for your self... plus there's no atmosphere there 2boot.

  • this is in response to baretta1983

  • Thier magnetic fields would easily overcome the weak force of gravity & no collision would occur, but would glance off of each other, the electrical interaction however would blast material from the surface due to electric arc machining.

  • Actually Saturn has more like 59 moons.

  • This film still postulates the idea that the Earth and Moon are the same age. I thought carbon dating showed the moon rocks to be much older than the Earth. Therefore, the Moon is much older than the Earth and was not formed at the same time. Is this not correct?

  • I heard that according to ancient philosophers, the moon came later because they talk about pre-seleniac people wich means that the earth was once on her own with no moons to orbit her. Go figure!

  • You dont use carbon dating on rocks, it can only be used on organic matter. For rocks you use potassium-argon or uranium-lead dating. As for the ages of earth and moon rocks, on earth there is continental drift. The crust of the earth is constantly being reformed in places where plates diverge and converge. However, there are a few places on earth where some of the rocks that were on earth when it formed exist and so we are able to formulate an age of our planet.

  • I keep on wondering how it is possible that the Moon's face towards the Earth stays in pefect stable position.

  • Gravity is a wonderful thing. Besides it isn't stable over the long term ( the really, REALLY long term)in about 500 million years, the moon will have receaded enough (thats right, the moon is receading away from us) it will be far enough away that we will no longer get total solar eclipses.

  • The hinge moment of the earth and the moon came from the same source. You won't find perfect or stable positions in the cosmos. What you can see throughout your entire life is barely more than a snapshot. Snapshots always look perfectly stable :)

  • Oh Moon, we hardly know ye!

  • superfisto nobody knows Mother Moon.

    Blessed Be

    F.F.M.B.

  • merry meet!

glad to know im not the only one!

    BB

  • Thanks for uploading this. I just thought of something: if Theia formed in an L4 or L5 trojan orbit then if there is a large difference in the mass of remaining trojan asteroids in either of these it may be possible to work out which position it formed. Has any work in this vein been done yet?
