It works because the physics have a little break in them. This lets you put a bunch of rods in one place and they will fall back onto each other, and it will basically freak out. Yeah...

d00d i love making chains they fail so hard xD! to do it just make many small water or wood beams then drag them very close together then add more. takes a little while but it can actually work sometimes hah.
