Yes, to search is necessary inside of self , but.... by wise head. Without Teacher - there is no way to truth. The perfect Teacher - necessarily gives the disciple - a freedom of search...., but ..... wise freedom. Because Way to truth is covered by many dangers: doubts, errors, both frightening illusions and temptations. Without a skilled hand - impossible to pass it up to the end.
Thats so right! Most people are just imitating cause they don't know better. They have to go to church so that somebody tells them what to do and what to think and so on...this is so wrong! As long as they don't make up their own mind and just imitating they will never change and stuck in that circle. You have to be a light to yourself! You don't need any jesus, god or allah. At least they can show you a right way but you have to go it all alone!
im talking about the book that was shown at the begginning of the video what is the name?? I know its krishnamurti just was wondering what book it was!
Osho Osho !! Osho liked Krishnamurti, he dedicated Him a beautiful dharsham when JK died, and one of the main places for meditation inside the Osho Ashram in Pune, India, has the Krishnamurti's name, after Him...
Krishnamurti was himself enlightened like Buddha or Jesus or Krishna and many more, but he neve helped humanity or simple people understand what it meant to be englightened, in a nut shell he was not a good orator for the common masses. His teachings ask you be enightened, but dies noe SHOW THE WAY in a language that you will understand. OSHO(Bhagwan Rajneesh) did the story telling and made common people understand what it means to be in Heaven.
If you haven't noticed, a common trend amongst those who try to "teach" people the way to enlightenment, end up being persecuted. There's something very un-wise about telling anyone how they should live or what way is the right way. Maybe Krishnamurti was aware of this, and figured if he could figure it out on his own, maybe everyone else could as well. Thus, there are no teachers of man, only those who wish to learn.
"You have to be a light to yourself ... and not follow the light of your professor, the psychiatrist, psychologist or the light of Jesus or the light of the Buddha.
You have to be a light to yourself in a world thats utterly becoming dark."
É de fundamental importância o conhecimento de nós mesmos. Compreendermos intelectualmente Krishnamurti sem compreendermos a nós mesmos não tem validade nenhuma.
video is in Russian...looks like it is an extract from a movie about life of Bruce Lee, who was attracted by the philosophy of Krishnamurti; in this video, Krishnamurti tells that one should become "a light to himself", not using the light of teacher, scientist, God etc... and Li liked "his" idea that "one should count on himself only..., especially, in searching truth"
Автор, удали этот непонятный момент из неизвестного фильма или назови его по-русски (так все иностранци будут знать, интересно им это смотреть или нет).
Krishnamurti isn't the only "enlightened" person to have said Truth is a pathless land (in so many words,) In fact Lee may have been influenced by Tze, too. But he did say that after suffering a back injury, he discovered Krishnamurti whom he had all the time in the world to read. K's words provoked him to develop the martial arts version of "the way of no way."
Bruce Lee cursed philosophy in the Washington university, so the inspiration for his art may have come from many authors, like Hegel for instance ( who believed thesis and its contrary coexists in the harmony of the sintesys ) or Wittgenstein
The teachings are the same. All knowledge ultimatly leads to self knowledge was something Bruce Lee said. To be your own light is about following yourself and not somebody else.

English translation of Krishnamurti's words:
"You have to be a light to yourself ... and not follow the light of your professor, the psychiatrist, psychologist or the light of Jesus or the light of the Buddha.
You have to be a light to yourself in a world thats utterly becoming dark."

I don't know about this video because I only speak English...but in general, Bruce Lee came to his "way of no-way" when he got into Krishnamurti.

no, "no way as way" is Lao Tzé influence ( the Tao moving in form of paradox is the secret reason of the world )
