For about $800/mo, that seems like a pretty good deal. I'm hoping to get something in between $500-$700 a month. Somewhere I can stay while I'm trying to figure out the rest of my life... lol. really nice kitchen.I lived in a bachelor way smaller than this before.but it had a full bathroom full kitchen and one big area.I made my bed the sitting area in the day and i spet there during the night .There was no space for a dining room table at all.

I love the way you decorated your studio. You should consider becoming an "interior decorator". Btw, if you know of anyone living on North winthrop ave, I wish they would do a walk-thru video of their studio because we're moving there in a few months. its 750 a month bills included minus the internet/cable. i looked at the same layout for 900 a month so i dont think its too bad for the area, although a friend of mine has something similar for around 600 but the building is not well kept, where my management is great. oh and watch out for the apartment locator services that they have all over lakeview - apartment savy ect. - those places are scam jobs.

i just walked around and looked for signs and called to see places. june is one of the heaviest months for rentals so there should be tons of signs - just bring a pen and some paper. you can look on the internet too but the listings that i went to from them were usually jammed with people. if you want to move to lakeview i love the area just off of sheridan - streets like surf, wellington, barry, or roscoe - they are beautiful and very close to express bus routes.

yeah ... as long as the CTA cut backs dont go through its much better and usually much less smelly. there are 5 or so different express buses that run along sheridan and they get me downtown in about 10 or so mins depending every morning. you should make sure to watch the chicago news to see what transit cut backs, if any, go though - its going to suck if they do, and you might want to think about living right near either the blue or red lines which are 24 hours.

actually there is an exhaust fan... its just hidden in the ceiling ... i didnt think to show it, but it works really well actually. and thank you! there is nothing like a beautiful carpet to warm up a place.
