I can never really get a hold of towers. It must be hard doing it exactly under you so that you can go that high. I always fall and have to double jump (yes, I still get the jets) when I do it.

I'm on my 2nd runthrough and I'm about 75% done at about 1 hour 50 minutes compared to 3 hours on Run 1. I should beat Run 2 in 3 hours. I'm getting there.

The 3 barrels ... so i just need to realy speed run till the hatch spot and if i did it fast enought i can pass through it it opens often but when it doenS'T it sucks

I always have a ton of problems with the air vent blowing down when I get the rockets - you seem to have no issues. What is the secret? Also, how do you slide jump over the rock? Hold A? Something else?

if you hold down on the left stick instead of the right, it should make this easier. Fire 1 or 2 shots then tap crouch, this will force you to the top of the ones you just made. However if you make 3 before crouching it wont work

you need to get to it in under 30 seconds from when you reach the three barrels
