In Australia u can buy an rs4 and get it APR supercharged for the same price of an m3 (since the rs5 came out Price has dropped so much) and this is hella better than a faggy m3 F*** YEAH!!!!

I knew you would say that, but the Loba motorsport one is indeed a V8 rs4 also, and not the twin turbo. 800hp in the twin turbo rs4 is nothing new or worth shouting about as its been done to death!

@ChrisFarleyGuy We developed one a while back using a M90 supercharger but we found the M90 to be too small for the 4.2L and thus scrapped the project.

The cost of the current RS4 kit would be too expensive for S4 owners, thus we have not attempted to reengineer the kit for this engine.

that's not entirely true. Torque and power vary directly (given a chosen rpm). Torque curves do give you a better indication of acceleration at each RPM point, since torque has a linear relationship to Force, which has a linear relationship to Acceleration. They are not disjoint attributes of a power train.

simply put, Power=Force*Distance/time (using generally false, but intuitively useful linear assumptions)

and Torque=Force*radius(or lever arm). Combining the two equations yields: Power=2pi*Torque*RPM (given that your Force is measured in kg*m/min^2. There will be some conversion constant to covert from metric to the "HP" nomenclature or FT-lbs units, but you get the picture. This means that a strong robust Power curve will also have a matching strong Torque curve.
