  • ez a Liszt Ferenc zenei akadémián van?

  • @20120119a A leirásban minden kérdésedre meg van a válasz :D

  • Nagyon szép dal. :D és méghozzá egy magyartól! :D LIKE magyarok!

  • Sounds like rain, like a tentative memory, like bittersweet melancholy... Poetry

  • Who cares if it was in some movie. All credit goes to Claude Debussy who wrote it and those that can play it. Just appreciate the beauty of this piece.

  • close your eyes, open your ears, close your mouth, open your mind.

  • I think that it's incredibly degrading to anyone who considers themself to be a musician to think that at some point the ignorant masses will simply associate any work they manage in their short life with the graphic bullshit that we seem to require in association with music. Is the music not beautiful enough to stand in its own right? This is an inspiring piece.

  • ez nagyon jó. :)

  • i love this song, it brings me peace. but now when i listen to it at work. every girl tells me "Oh HEY DO U LIKE TWILIGHT, THAT SONG WAS IN TWILIGHT!" n i gotta go along with it cuz well, i may not like twilight, but bitches like twilight... so yeah i gotta at least act like i like twilight... fuck twilight the movie UP made a better love story in 7 min than twilight did in 10 movies

  • awesome! what a masterpiece

  • Pretty and impressionistic.

  • Debussy would probably roll around in his grave if he read the top comments... I know I would...

  • Das Licht des Mondes ist zart und sibrig, niemals fortissimo, niemals presto. Alle Pianisten interpretieren dieses Werk falsch. Debussy hat es ganz anders gemeint!

  • She is doing the piece technically but it sounds really cold and lacking in depth and emotion. Almost like she's just trying to get through it without making a mistake. It seems that she's playing it at a very fast tempo as well.

  • This is a masterpiece, beautiful!

  • My favorite piece of music ... and my son had this for us to dance our mother-son at his wedding.

  • Hermosoo! tocoo Hermosa esa melodia me encanta Claro de Luna'

  • it sounds like spiderman to me..

  • People, if you like this song, I HIGHLY recommend you watch the movie Tokyo Sonata. An incredible piece of film :)

  • Words can't describe how much I love this piece! Marvelous job!

  • I think the whole twilight complaint is so juvenile. It's a just a song (albeit a very beautiful one). Shut the fuck up, and marvel at it's beauty.

  • @two2birds Word, 22B. Twilight, Bieber, Obama's blackness... all are things i could care less about during a jam like this. Really, how does it occur to people to bother while this tune- and performance[!]- are romancing the ear.

So what if they arrived via the movie; what, did the Twilighters interrupt you geniuses while you where debating the acoustics of famous halls or the relevancy of particular schools of musical-thought? No, i'm guessing. *not at all directed at the real lovers/experts

  • I hum this song to my 4 month old when he is going to sleep. I love this song! I want it for my ipod so bad.

  • @Katoudi5393

To be honest I know it from Ocean's Eleven ha..

  • Comment removed

  • very nice thank you soooo smooth

  • Any way that a person can be exposed to classic music and learn to appreciate it is a good thing. Go Edward!

  • screw twilight, this is the ocean's 11 peice

  • @taostoner1 Absolutely!

  • @taostoner1 yeah right you cunt. It's Claude Debussy's piece.

  • @dean120028 amen to that

  • @taostoner1 What does a vampire movie have to do with Debussy?

  • @taostoner1 Fuck BOTH OF THOSE MOVIES. Hasn't anybody heard of the works of Debussy PURELY from a love of the instrument? When I was nine years old, the only thing I wanted for Christmas was the complete works of Chopin by Ashkenazy. I got more than I bargained for when my parents surprised me with the purchase of a REAL Bosendorfer grand piano. It's so depressing for me to look at the kids my age and see that they do nothing to enrich their lives and build on their potential. (cont)

  • @taostoner1 case in point when I find that 99% of the people listening to this composition had first heard it on the soundtrack from a trashy movie. All they care about now is Jonas Brothers and Coldplay. I hate to imagine what my life would be like if I didn't play piano; all the incredible opportunities I would miss out on. I was the only high school student to be invited to perform in the Second Annual Chopin Honors Concert and have won several competitions throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.

  • @ByeHawks No need to antagonize the Twilight fans. Unless they keep incessantly stating that they love Twilight, there's not need to rap about it.

  • @ByeHawks Geez, everyone needs to calm down. I was classically trained on the cello, since we are naming arbitrary "qualifications". I knew the song from Debussy first, Its one of my favorite songs of all time. Oceans 11 is a good movie. Twilight is an awful movie. That is all.

  • Nothing wrong with me. My father would play it just to loosen up with the windows open. Yep, people would come out of their homes.

  • I don't really care which way or the other that you came across this piece. To appreciate music is to appreciate music, no matter in which way it was presented.

  • Fuck yes, this Hungarian girl is REPRESENTING!

  • Played this piece a couple of years ago! It was heaps of fun~

    So beautiful! xx

  • ♥♥♥♥♥ love this song

  • I know this piece from an Asian Kung-fu Generation song titled Gekkou(Moonlight). Since I heard the song, I love the piece :)

  • love this piece....didnt knw it was in twilight til my daughter told me. Have terrible memory..saw the movie with her too. :-S this is also in the movie Frankie and Johnny. Its playing and its before the climactic ending where she gets so sad then as a way to show how he feels about her he calls the radio station to replay the song to dedicate it to her. ahhh beautiful

  • music for a broken heart

  • This is my favorite piece ever. The beginning is what I came to love so much about this song, and I don't even listen to piano music.

  • To be fair, twilight is perhaps the worse show in TV history, americans are just so stupid (not kidding) that they keep watching it, so when they hear this kinda music on a retard tv show maybe the producers are doing them a favor.

  • @mevansmusic You're a classless fucking douchebag. I've never seen the twilight movies or read the books. I was introduced to the works of Debussy by my teacher when I was quite young.

  • Maravilhoso!

  • Maravilhoso!

Agradeço a amiga do orkut que me presenteou...bj.

  • What reason would u have to "thumbs down" this?

  • go Hungary!!!

  • I've loved this song since I was like 5. It never gets old. One of the most beautiful songs you'll ever hear.

  • This was one of my father's favorite songs, remembering especially at this time, his birthday month, thank-you for sharing so that I can enjoy to think of him

  • 1:04 brings me to tears.

  • 1:45

  • @shrekpower chills :)

  • this song is so beautiful... i would like it even if it wasnt in twilight!!!

  • I'm glad there's finally a good live piano performance of CDL on Youtube. I've been looking for a good one with clear audio.

  • One of my favorite classical pieces.....very good! Be well!

  • She's good, that was very well played :)

  • I'm thirteen and I'm listening to this? I don't get the problem some people have with that. ><'' It's relaxing ^^

  • To be honest, although don't get me wrong, she's great, I think she rushes the beginning too much. I think those first few bars are to be savoured, and she sounds like she's just skipping over all the peace and beauty at the start to get to the faster part.

  • really the best interpretation I've heard so far.

  • I knew it from skins :)

  • to be honest, if twilight gets people listening to music like this who otherwise would never hear it, this can only be a good thing!

  • was this in oceans 11?

  • Her last name is the same as Marion Cotillards in "Love Me if You Dare" <3

  • HOLA EXCELENTE INTERPRETACION MUCHISIMAS FELICIDADES

  • What's Twilight?

  • I tried to play this on piano for the past year now, I can only get to the 2nd page...its way too difficult!

  • planet of apes brought me here

  • glad that I knew it from Tokyo Sonata... which was like 100 times better than that stupid Twilight movie~!

  • twilight

  • This clip has been viewed more than a million times now. I feel like every one of them was me, listening, thrilled, overwhelmed, and still I cannot absorb it. Every time is new.

  • @maliolani LOSER

  • Perfect play...

  • the most amazing thing it's just... how can this mean so many things...

  • Too fast and anxious for me.

  • nagyon szép zene és nagyon szépen játssza a hölgy :)

  • thumbs up if you don't know this piece from twilight!!!

  • @Katoudi5393

Heard if from the opening of the song "Moonlight" (Gekkou) by Asian Kung-fu Generation

  • @DuoSkye well good for you! ;D

  • @Katoudi5393 nevermind those who discovered this piece from twilight will never understand it nor feel it =D

  • @Katoudi5393

    What's twilight?

  • @Katoudi5393

    Ignorantes es de Claude Debussy!!

  • @Katoudi5393 well i know it from Ocean's Eleven. I guess thats marginally better.

  • @Katoudi5393 What is twilight????

  • @Katoudi5393 this song was on Ocean Eleven's motion picture.

  • @Katoudi5393 It's been my favorite song in the world since I was about 4 years old. I guess I'm excited that more people know it from Twilight or Ocean's 11 now, but I'd love it if they were a little more enthused about learning who Claude Debussy was and hearing the rest of the Suite Bergamasque, because the whole thing is just breathtaking.

  • @Katoudi5393 Oh my god. Twilight? They violated Debussy?

  • @Katoudi5393 Whats twilight????

  • @sablindcas

    twi·light:

    1. the soft, diffused light from the sky when the sun is below the horizon, either from daybreak to sunrise or, more commonly, from sunset to nightfall.

    2. the period in the morning or, more commonly, in the evening during which this light prevails.

    3. a terminal period, especially after full development, success, etc.: the twilight of his life.

    4. a state of uncertainty, vagueness, or gloom.

  • @Katoudi5393 What is Twilight? I know it from my exam in musical school.

  • @Katoudi5393 What do you mean we mean from "twilight"? Like we know it from being outside at night? I'm confused? This is a beautiful piece and you can easily imagine yourself being outside in a peaceful night listening to this watching the stars.

  • Finally! I found the most beautiful music in the world! It was about time!

    ; D

  • @TrickyOne3 hahahahah i mean the movie with the ''vampires'' :P

  • @Katoudi5393 Oh that movie! I feel stupid now. :)

  • Comment removed

  • i think its better on piano^^

  • Dewey in "malcolm in the middle" played this piece.

  • what?! this song was in twilight!? -.- hah, i was listening to this before twilight had found it!

  • MagyarVagyok.hu....és Budapest...Budapest... a tiszta őszinte hangok és érzések igazsága...

  • se existe alma na musica esta é uma delas....

  • De beleza única, esplêndido me arrepia de tanta pureza e sensibilidade,tão talentosa coloca sua alma, seus sentimentos e consegue um resultado magnífico!

    se mais a declarar.

  • Not very good playing i think

  • @juli007ify

    a little bit to fast

  • @juli007ify

are you kidding? It's an interpretation

  • @freshhh1994 thats my opinion, accept it

  • @juli007ify

I do not accept your opinion, because I don't share it.

I think this is a wonderful rendition, and if you don't like it, get out and quit posting stupid comments.

  • @freshhh1994 i have looked the video, then i remarked that this wasn't the video i mean, so i say sorry, she definitive plays really good

    Sorry for all negative remarks

  • it's so beautiful

  • stunning performance

  • to all the twlight comments..first of all the song was on for 2 .5 seconds in the movie so its has no assoications with the movie

and iam glad they had this song on the movie becuz if not i wouldnt have thought about ths song beause its truly been ages since ive heard it anywhere else..i believe in movies and shows now a days putting just a glimpse of history in a form of music influences youth..its the only way that this new generation can learn from the past..so stop hating lol..

  • Voici l'oeuvre talentueuse d'un Français

  • it was like the original audio played. so damn good. i wanna learn that too..

  • Very well played. I wish she put more soul into it. She's not really feeling it she's just playing it. Except for the end she did really nice :)

  • @heca906 you're joking right? if felt that she felt it...don't know how much more she could have felt it to be honest.

  • wonderful peace of music!

    without any fault!

    THUMPS UP!

  • Oceans Eleven or Twilight (Shit movie), this piece of art will always share the real musics peak with Beethoven and Mozart.

Real music: Beethoven, Debussy, Louis Armstrong etc etc also the pure artist of their genres like 2Pac or Metallica

Fake music: Justin Bieber and Rihanna (biggest of them all), 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, those who sold their souls to feel music, not those who already feels music in their souls. Pop music should be destroyed!

  • @sinojtjej take a deep breath boss :)

  • @sinojtjej No it shouldnt. Can't you just listen to the music? It should have brought you peace.. why all this hate? calm down. it s a matter of choice. And for gods shake, enough with the Bieber comments in every video..

  • to see my latest piano composition search "Ballade of the stars". Click on first video. I hope it moves you in some way

  • Wonderful... This music always makes me a little sad; it was played on the funeral of my much loved brother who died in the prime of his life. But it's soooooo beautuful, it comforts me at the same time. Thanks for the uploading.

  • fuck twilight i first hear it on oceans 11

  • this piece deserves it to be the only video on youtube with at least 1 million klicks with not one poor idiot who strays himself on the dislike button. what a pity ...

  • PERFECT TIMING !!!

  • bravissima!

  • my favourite version of "Clair de Lune"...

  • Great playing- absolutely beautiful.

As for the video itself... Those were the longest cross dissolves ever xD

  • Belleza para el alma, María Kovalszki, Gracias!

  • When I stop sobbing,u I'll be able to reflect on this moving piece of art .

  • i love this............................

  • This made me absolutely fall in love with the song! Her interpretation is just perfect :) <3

  • Great performance, beautifully played. I loved her interpretation

  • Beautifully played. Encore!

  • 40 ember a metál core-t szereti xD

  • i think its on some parts way too fast and way too loud... i mean its her interpretation of this piece, but there are better versions

  • @JoungYseze93 I agree.

  • @JoungYseze93 which version is better?

  • Dios es Música! Cuanta balleza, perfección, estado superior del alma en levedad. Gracias Maestro Debussy por tanta maravilla.

  • Refreshing. I don't know why often people tend to play "quiet" pieces of classical music too slowly. It's not always the right choice.

  • Rushed rendition. To anxious.

  • @chopinchef you probably blow

  • @SyracuseLax09 And you gargle, swallow, and choke. Eat a dick, bitch.

  • @chopinchef Noo no, this is exactly how it should be played. Playing it any slower would just make it tedious and boring to listen to.

  • This is portrayed MAGNIFICENTLY...1000 thanks :-)

  • goosebumps every time when 4:05 starts. replay.

  • So lovely!

  • i want to bang her

  • @MegaTorontoRaptors Which pixel?

  • The best interpitation ever on youtube.com

  • she can play this much faster than me

  • thank you . i love this piece of music. ween i have a bad day this makes it all ok. thank you. gemma

  • I just died inside and got resurrected by pure love into a universe my new soul has not yet seen.

  • I just can't understand how this amazing piece of music can be associate to a movie like twilight.

  • @okokokokdaccdaccdacc Agreed. BUT! It was in Ocean's Eleven before Twilight *ugh*. Ocean's 11 is amazing, and quite certainly works for me in the case of songs in movies. = )

  • @okokokokdaccdaccdacc I've never seen twilight but you've just given me further reason to detest the whole fad even more...populer culture is now trying to destroy what little actual culture we have left....truly, very sad.

  • @suitabledude Well either that or its just introducing more people to 'real culture'. Just bloody snobbery, get over yourself

  • @okokokokdaccdaccdacc keep pretending your too cool for twilight, rofl. good luck.

  • @okokokokdaccdaccdacc Blame Stephanie Meyer for unleashing the Twilight saga onto the world. I the authors of the novels that she mentioned in her books and some of the ideas that she blatantly ripped off from them are spinning in their graves.

  • @okokokokdaccdaccdacc Do not worry...This song will prevail...Twilight will be forgotten...

  • @okokokokdaccdaccdacc wow that is a name and a half xD

  • It was written in the book as Bella's favourite piece of music. They put it in the film, thousands of new fans, some completely oblivious to Debussy and classical music are now listening to it, enjoying it, learning to play the piano etc, and if that's a bad thing I have to ask, what is wrong with you people?!!!

  • @MrSmunsey dats the waze the world works it's brokin down. Hey do you know the beauty of the Replacements? Shame of you.. 1983 - 1991 the best band after the Beatles and .. Neil Young too. Please my mom is dying I need some thumbs up .. plesae. everrywon I need it.

  • @MrSmunsey Because only snooty, stuck up, pretentious bastards should know good music. Not teenagers.

  • @MrSmunsey sorry but waiting twilight crap to learn you some great music you MUST know is quite pathetic ^^

  • @MrSmunsey sorry my friend but I'm not waiting from twilight to teach me this kind of music. It's quite pathetic :)

  • they can use it in a scifi-movie or soft-porno .. who cares ??!? ... the more the better ... thx to twilight, a few more kids listening to this masterpiece right now !! ... i heard it first in the movie Oceans 11 ... as an orchestrated version .. absolutely beautiful !! ...im not a twilight-fan .. but stop flaming ..

  • i wanna marry that woman !!!

  • The pianist took liberties with the music, and played it with her own variations. Plus the piano sounds out of tune. Ohhhhh hurts my ears!

  • @bcs207 why don't you play it, record it and post it on youtube? i'm sure your rendition will blow us all away.
