@Toast579 I saw them live a couple of years ago visiting a big natural ampitheatre in west australia and at the point where Frank started screaming in one of the song, his voice was echoing from the sheer power around the ampitheatre and there was thousands of stunned and elated people just awestruck. It felt like a moment of pure almost pornographically intense power. Frank is a terrifying singer and I'm so fucking glad I've seen him live.

Oh my god. The Pixies, and David Lynch are two of my favorite things. After watching Eraserhead I wanted to cover this song. Of all the bands to think of it first I can't believe it was one of my favorites. This makes me so happy.

Bleach, their first album, wasn't inspired by the pixies (moreso by the melvins and early sound garden), and it sounded much different from their post-nevermind stuff (which was inspired b the pixies). So they probably would have made a lot of the same old same old that was comming out of Seattle at the time.
