  • Data is a douche.

  • The password that the computer lists is slightly different than how data says it.

  • password: memorized!

  • i always wanted to push all the keys of those bullshit bridge computers

  • Comment removed

  • i repeat two birds on a wire

    /watch?v=jrLvtoKZfxY&feature=related

    one flies away

  • Obviously translated from Japanese this, you can tell by the way the lips move but the sound doesnt match up with them

  • Those are some pretty useless security personnel. Seriously, how bad is Starfleet training? Security doesn't run, Riker has no idea how the parts of the ship line up, Data had to look up the shortest route to a transporter room, Riker also had no idea that a phaser would be too dangerous under those conditions and then had no idea what Data was doing. Only O'Brien and Worf had the vaguest clue as to what was going on. What kinda ship are you running Picard?

  • 0:35 : Shut up Wesley !

  • he just owned the whole ship

  • i really wanted to finish watching this :(

  • the terminator

  • Don't "get" writing like this... ask the computer and it knows where everyone is, and it can tell you all kinds of things on request, can't it tell something unusual is going on when Data is the only person on the bridge and is talking like Picard who's in engineering? eh? And it's a fast and powerful ship, wouldn't the computer have some safeguard kick in when something weird is going on like no-one's on the bridge except a lying android? Suspension of disbelief: unsuspended. :D

  • I fucking rofled at the transcribed audio!

  • what was the name of this episode

  • @alienhddna Brothers s04

  • I know from another vid on Youtube that he could impersonate Picard perfectly. The only question is did he really do it here, or was it overdubbed?

  • I am Commander Riker, and this is my favorite Picard impersonation on the Cit- on the Enterprise.

  • what episode is it?

  • @DarthPern the one where dr. sulu activates datas homing signal and data takes over the enterprise.

  • which episode exactly?

  • @DarthPern "Brothers" (Season 4 episode 3)

  • what would Data need the computer to show him the quickest route to the transporter room??

  • @viigraphix yeah thats true he should know it

  • @viigraphix He did that to have the computer activate force fields on that route automatically.

  • @viigraphix Yeah I was thinking that too, hasn't he got a map of the ship in his head by now? The computer should have replied, "What's wrong with you?"

  • Дейта всех наебал ^.^

  • pretty much

  • what about retinal recognition?

  • Was this episode filmed in Japan?

  • There is no voice over. It is amazing that Brent can impersonate Patrick Stewart that well. He is such a talented actor.

  • @PuccallpaGirl He was the best part of "Independence Day" He's a really underated actor. Maybe trek killed his career.

  • @PuccallpaGirl this isn't a voice over?

  • @FacultyFan Nope, you can search for "Brent Spiner impersonating Patrick Stewart" and find video Of him doing Patrick's voice at conventions and interviews.

  • 4:17

  • How did you do that link in the first couple of seconds which led us to the other youtube video ... I did a search on the net for how to do that but didn't find a way (without paying someone) ... I've got a similar problem that I need to fix; thank you.

  • @tg3793

    Create and link an anotation

    Look here:

    google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=92710&ctx=share

(copy and paste to address bar)

  • @stp1982

    .

Thanks for the tip but I've looked at "annotations" before. And saw that I could make a speech bubble, a spotlight, a note, or a title ... And if fact I created a note that said "in text" to go to "description" area in order to click on a link that I had created.

I had to do it that because I wasn't able to figure out how to get a clickable link in the video itself. Am I just missing something obvious?

  • @tg3793 Noob?

  • He could have least put a 5 in that code.

  • its creepy cause hes actually doing that voice, its not a voice over

  • You're attempt at fixing the audio in the other one didn't work. It's worse than this, not out, something else. The out of sync one is more listenable.

  • the strange thing thy had a spit second to stun Data they didn't take the shot. And y didn't Data override th site 2 site transport. on the Bridge than he wouldn't have to walk to the transporter room. maybe there only so much Data can do.

  • Love this episode. Totally highlights the absurdity of having a full crew, when 1 android can do everything.

  • Star Trek: The Audio Transcription!

Chief O'brien: Albright Captain Mccarty tried to actually stopped talking!

Captain Picard: Computer, estimated time from this location starts for one's sexual mark?

*Data traps Riker on the transporter and opens a wall console*

O'brien: Usually activities a site to site just for ten dollars!

    Riker: Seven years the!

  • i think picard and data are getting a little nutty

  • "born attractively accident.... pencil separation sequence...seems dates and requires urgent."

Watching this with Transcribe Audio on is like watching it translated from Japanese into English. OR vice versa, I'm not real sure, but either way it's hilarious.

  • @gamax92 haha yup ur right.. nice catch.

  • I cannot believe I have only just discovered the "cc transcribe audio" setting!! Watching this video with the captions on is the funniest thing ever. I have had to move away from my laptop because of the tears streaming down my face. ROFLMAO!!!

  • Frick-en androids; didn't we learn anything from Aliens?!

  • I have not seen this episode before, why does Data go crazy and take control of the ship?

  • Comment removed

  • @TypicalJAFO Thanks, but whats the name of the episode? Do you remember?

  • Comment removed

  • @GenericChristJesus

Argh, damn formatting. Okay, one more time.

I believe the episode is from Season Four, and it is called "Brothers"

  • @TypicalJAFO Ok, Thanks

  • Is this the episode where Wesley dies? It should be.

  • If you watch this with transcribe audio on you'll LOL!!!

  • @dpattiris With all the crazy superuser access the enterprise definitely is running Linux....:)

  • bacon flavored baby rape

  • Computer, reeboost the auxillery thrusters and anti matter gateway, in order to re-establish normal synced alogorythms

  • Computer...pen nick Williams because I hate him, wanna kick off his balls, and he's an asshole. COMPUTER- command established... Awaiting arrival of nick... Nick has been pwned

  • WTF y is it out of sync. Foes that happen on an touch cuz I'm watching on an itouch

  • 1 7 3 4 6 7 3 2 1 4 7 6 charlie 3 2 7 8 9 7 7 6 4 3 tango 7 3 2 victor 7 3 1 1 7 8 8 8 7 3 2 4 7 6 7 8 9 7 6 4 3 7 6 ...LOCK

OMFG this took me like 1 minute to copy and my brain practically blew up

  • 17346521476C3278977763T732V731171888732476789764376.. LOCK! that was a mouthful, i started laughing at how long it was

  • @IPD07 All he really needed to say was 1-2-3-4-5, after all that was enough to protect planet Veridia's air

  • @malamagr

hahahaha, thats such a coincidence, i just watched space balls earlier today xD

  • just nickpicking here, but if Data is clearance level 1 and Picard is lvl 2, then what level is Riker ???

  • @schwarzfalk 1.5

  • @schwarzfalk Maybe an error, or perhaps just number 2 as well in a sort of tiered system. Where the second level senior staff are all on two etc... it would seem strange to portion out computer privilege individually on rank,

  • total ownage

  • lmao, wtf is this, dangermouse doing baron greenbacks?

  • i was just watching this episdoe last night

  • "What the heck was that?"--Riker

    "I believe he's created a forcefield, sir,"--Worf

    "Great. Just great."--Riker

    LOL.

  • does that mean he'll be able to.. *data transports away* uhh..yes sir.

  • That was really cool!

  • SAUCER SEPARATION AT WARP 9.2!

    SHIET

  • Computer: Initiate audio and video sync for the following time indices: 1 - 6:03

  • @dwilmer7

    Awesome

  • @dwilmer7

Lack of computer memory causes lapses in video/audio sync...

  • @nycullaSUCKS

weel sheet...guess i better uninstall some crap

  • @dapenguin2

Better to just install more RAM. I process a lot of vids. The more RAM your computer can handle, the better it will process vids. If you have a 64-bit operating system, instead of the standard 32, your computer can handle more RAM...

My next PC will have at least 8Gb of RAM...

  • @dapenguin2

Remember, Data's positronic brain has 200m Gb of RAM...

  • how come they can seal off every section in the ship and still you can just climb a ladder and get there?!

  • its not that bad.. Just imagine you're deaf and a telepath. see? much better.

  • Thumbs down for still not having synced the audio and video tracks.

  • I'm such a nerd: I remember learning the code at 4:19 when I was 12 years old. Kept thinking that one of the actors would have had to have learnt it by heart to get the cadence of the numbers to match up.

  • some problems with this really, all this technology and 1 person can just take over? Not exactly 24th century, Plus site to site wouldnt have worked had they kept hold of the chips or damaged them.

A good episode, entertaining, but flawed.

  • @DLPBurke

Well, to be fair, Data has abilities no one else has... His perfect cloning of Picard's voice is something no one else in the Galaxy could do (indeed, in TOS the computer was able to recognise a close copy of Kirk's voice manufactured by hostile aliens)...

  • @SirBroadsword

Baloney, Q can do it too...

  • Why don't I remember this! It looks like an exceptional episode! Can anyone tell me what episode it is?

  • @mmorgan0678 read the description

  • What episode was this?

  • @wazithefreak read the description

  • Brent Spiner was the best cast character on TV, ever. Well, barring "Face" in the A-Team... but that's pretty obvious.

  • @goingwithzed

Know what I want to see?

Data teaming up with Odo and The Doctor...

And while we're at it. The Doctor as welll... not the EMH doctor, but The Doctor, doctor. I know, not the same serie, not in the least, but Doctor Who with those three would be nothing short of complete universe destroying awesomeness.

  • @goingwithzed Brent Spiner is an amazing actor. He's also a great singer. Him and Patrick Stewart always stole the show in TNG imo.

  • wow

  • LOL 2:22

  • Well then, I think I can say with some certainty....Pwned.

  • What was that code again???

  • did brent spiner actually impersonate patrick stewart in this scene (believe it or not mr spiner has this ability) or did they dub patrick stewart s voice to spiners mouth movements? this has been buggin me for ages

  • @blooberblabber

    Dubbed.

  • Data must like the number '7'.

  • Artista exclusivo de cha cha cha

  • they should be so glad data is (usually) on their side.

  • I love the episodes were it focuses just on Data, doing something, Like learning something new, or indeed taking over the whole Enterpirse, Pretty skillful If you ask me :D

  • what does LCARS stand for?

  • @grooveclubhouse Library Computer Access/Retrieval System

  • Oh shiz data pulling a jason bourne

  • LOL x 10! Select "Transcribe Audio Feature (Beta)" in the Closed Captioning drop-menu.

  • This is one of the best segments in all of star trek.

  • does that mean hell be able to...

  • sir...hes acctivated the force feild ....

    great...just great lmao

  • @starchild1alien agreed, lmao indeed.

  • I love Data

  • @DiabeticL who doesn't!

  • what episode is this from?

  • @lv459 "Brothers"

  • dumby u put the video on with the wrong format so the sound doesn't mash up...

  • Riker keeps using the WWII military alphabet.

  • @CountArtha also known as the phonetic alphabet dumbo

  • I love this scene from "Brothers." It's like Data's HAL moment. I'm half expecting Picard to say "Open the pod bay doors, Data" and Data to reply "I am sorry, Captain. I am afraid I cannot do that."

  • You know @4:10 it really looked like Picard was going to kick Data's ass when he got out of engineering...and he had enough cachet to be the only humanoid capable of such a feat.

P.S. I was always amazed at what crackerjack material Starfleet Security officers were. Could they have moved any frakking slower? How long did it take before that force field flickered on in front of Worf? At least a minute. He could've popped a phaser shot off at Data - he was at point blank range for Christ's sake!

  • I bet Data was a real hit at those Enterprise officer parties!

  • Riker: Does that mean he'll be able to...?

    DATA: (Beams away)

    ROFL

  • SHUT UP Wesley!

  • what i get pissed of about is that the security teams never RUN they only WALK through enterprise

  • if they detached the saucer at warp, it would be vaporized because it doesn't have a deflector dish.

  • I hate lag

  • This part was so creepy

  • Data is a fucking terminator.

  • These security issues could be entirely dissolved if the computer had a camera.

  • the close caption is a hot mess hahahhahaha 1:45

  • Where's the rest of this episode?

  • the closed captions on this are HILARIOUS! especially @ 1:45

  • What Episode is this?

  • Nice!

  • Who's the ensign?

  • Wesley Crusher (the doc's son)

  • @P51DMustangsRULE: thanks, mate.

  • Fuckkkkkk....data goes apeshit and everyone's super fucked

  • Data is a Robocop`s bitch

  • why do you need a crew? Data has the capability to carry out the agenda of starfleet if needed.

  • @bobbypinhead I think this episode proves the benefit of having a crew, Data tends to go crazy or get possessed by aliens or has his citizen status revocked or something, so it's probably best to have a thousand people to check up on him constantly. :)

  • @bobbypinhead Because shit like this would happen all the time...

  • Question: when they knew Data was heading for a transporter room, why didn't they just lock the door, or is that too simple? lol

  • because then there would be no continuuing storyline.

  • @bobbypinhead oh, how true. It just annoys me when the writers go into vast amounts of detail to make the plot plausable and then forget obvious details like this.

  • @KingofKlubs Data had already locked down the computer so it could only be controlled from the main bridge. They couldn't have locked the door even if they wanted too.

  • @GazelleDJ Data had locked out command functions, surely a door lock wouldn't fall into that catagory.

  • "Computer, initiate cascade sequence accepting instructions from commander Data on route."

I think he could have commanded the door to be unlocked or physically open it himself.

  • @VikingII It would take even Data a while to smash in a door, which should give Worf some time to get through the force field. If "micro-brain" can't figure it out, than all Riker has to do is stand ready on the other side of the door, and as soon as Data gets the door open, he's met with a volly of phaser fire. No standing around, no offers of surrender, just shoot the rouge android and repair him later.

  • @KingofKlubs Well if the computer is accepting his commands he'd just command the door open. Also in the episode "genesis' you can see picard slide the door open, and also in "star ship mine" i believe.

  • He locked everything out using picards recoginition codes, then rewrote new ones (seven six 5 baker x1000).

  • Here's the truly ignorant part to this clip... why did every starfleet officer either walk up to him (not run, walk) or try to talk to him first?

Hell, if an android with far more strength, speed, and processing power were running rouge on the ship, I'd shoot first and download his neural network later.

  • LOL Amazing Code XD

  • Impressve nik!! Sequence confirmed. You are correct.

  • Found 4 errors in the Alpha 2 Command function lock. What is displayed on the screen DOES NOT match exactly what is said. Here is what Data actually says:

    173467321476 CHARLIE

    32789777643 TANGO

    732 VICTOR

    73117888732476789764376

    LOCK.

I've gone over it several times and I'm sure I have it right. And yes I know, I have too much time on my hands, but I memorize long numbers every day, so this caught my attention immediately. If you think I have errors please feel free to correct me.

  • It'll drop out of warp within 2 minutes? Shouldn't it instantly fall out of warp because it's not AT warp anymore.

  • Have you not heard of momentum?
