He is so articulate,talks just as good as he sings,thats rare in rock star personalities,i've heard a van halen interview where he just sounds uneducated and he should thank God he knows how to play a guitar because i don't think he'd have anything else to fall back on..but he is an awesome musician.

Really is the whole package-so very rare in any part of the entertainment industry. Just wish he would speed things up with his project. Totally agree. He actually thinks when he talks. Just heard an interview recently with Schon. Such a difference. Sounds like a 15 year old-like he got stuck from leaving school with no education all those years ago. Every other word was slammin' man, or jammin' man. He sounded illiterate, not like the musical talent he actually is. Easy to see why Steve is the whole package-musically talented, producer, writer, interviewer, and businessman. Renaissance man!

Glad you admitted yourself that he CO-WROTE the songs, plus Schon is the one who provided the licks to their hits, not to mention the brilliant contributions of JC. In short it's a collaboration! SP would be NOTHING if Neal didn't form Journey and for Herbie Herbert who lobbied for his INCLUSION to the band. Worship him but don't insult the other members.
