  • At last! I can finally hear how the lyrics sound! I have a book with carols from all around the world and this one is in it and, not being Scandinavian, I had NO idea how to pronounce the words till I heard it here :)! Thanks for posting :).

    Yes, it is indeed - this version has a slight variation in the tune -

    and originally the last line in each verse wasn't repeated.

    Nope, Norwegian singer - but a Danish Christmas hymn originally.

    The lyrics are more less the same, but of course they sound better

    in Norwegian, where they sing all the time anyway LOL
