  • I see the Deano nuts and moveon people have been commenting on people from NH that see Shaheen was bad for NH and would even worse for the country

  • John Sununu, he screwed NH, he voted to cut medicare for 200,000. Voted 7 TIMES against federal heating. Imagine the hell people would go through not having medicare or federal heating.

  • Forget these slickly produced attack ads. The REAL John Sununu is over in MY videos.

  • Yeah, OK. Let's surrender and turn it into another Afghanistan so you idiots who don't know jack shit about foreign policy can send more troops in a decade from now.

  • exactly powerbook, unlike NAM where the politician screwed that country we cant afford to do that again

  • Exactly, it will be my peers or even my children dying if we don't finish this job NOW!

  • New Hampshire Voters have a responsibility to New Hampshire.. and keeping Senator Sununu in office is the most responsible thing we could do. Sununu supports our troops and isn't using the war as a partisan way to get votes. Keep up the good work Senator!

  • Good luck Mr. Senator!

  • To all the FUCKING morons like Anntink and dhgmust

THE PEOPLE NOT SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS are you Republican TRAITERS TO THIS GREAT NATION WHO ARE TRAPPING THEM IN IRAQ! voting for a timetable IS SUPPORTING THE TROOPS! WE ARE TRYING TO SAVE THEM!

THE STRATEGY SET FORTH BY PETRAEUS IS NOT WORKING!!! TO LEAVE NOW BE AN ACT OF COURAGE AND PATRIOTISM TO SAY NO TO OUR TYRANT PRESIDENT WHO HAS DEFIED THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE WHO PUT HIS ASS WHERE IT IS IN THE OVAL OFFICE!!!!

  • tomtn555: What you propose isn't an act of courage and doesn't support our troops. To the terrorists and insurgents you are one of the weak-minded Americans they are counting on. And get over the 2000 election or go hang yourself on a chad!

  • Because clearly, supporting the troops means letting them die for a cause the Iraqis oppose.

And how are we going to pay for this war? Higher taxes; isn't that something Republicans are against? To make this fair, I suppose we should impose a "War Tax" on everyone who voted for Bush (and double that burden on those who voted for him twice). Sound fair? I didn't think so. Neither is ending the lives of thousands of Americans for a war without any purpose.

  • Spoken like a true liberal, obscenities and all.

  • It's T-R-A-I-T-O-R you illiterate loser.

  • Buddy, the mast majority of our troops are conservative. If the troops think "the strategy set forth by Petraeus [and Republicans] is not working," then why do they overwhelmingly support Petraeus and the Republicans?

  • I agree with dhgmust; Sen. Sununu, vote to support our troops and don't put a politically motivated timetable for leaving Iraq in play. There is a new strategy in place and it shows early signs of progress. The United States should not leave until Iraqi security forces can defend the elected government in place there. To leave too soon would betray those who put their trust in us and would be an act of cowardice.

  • I am from NH and it IS time for Johny to say good bye. His family has been in office for too many decades, geesh I was a baby when a Sununu for in office. Time for a change!

  • No, it's time for you to start learning English.

  • I was taught English, don't worry. Plus this was over a year ago and you just replied now. Geesh.

Give people a break, this site unlike others does not let you fix errors when the site post a message too soon.

  • I'm not from New Hampshire, but I can't imagine why anyone would keep Sununu in office any longer. New Hamphire voters have a responsibility to throw this guy out in 2008.

  • Support the troops - bring them home.

  • WTF is a 'surge'? In all conflicts prior to this, dropping 20k+ troops into a theatre has been called an 'escalation'.

And as for an 'occupying invader', well that IS an accurate term. This isn't a war and hasn't been for years. There's no enemy to defeat, no ground to take, no government to topple. Right now it's population supression, ie: an OCCUPATION.

It's hard to win a war when there is no war. Occupations only have one of two ends: Annexation, or withdrawal.

  • I hope the great state of New Hampshire gives this guy the boot next year. America is sick and tired of politicians in favor of unnecessary and endless war. It won't be long before the Dems have a veto-proof majority in the senate.

  • Sen. Sununu, vote to support our troops with a perfectly reasonable timetable for leaving Iraq. There is a new strategy in place and it shows no sign of progress. The United States should leave so Iraqi security forces can defend the elected government in place there. To not leave would betray those who put their trust in us and would be an act of cowardice.

  • IIak84u. Just read your comments. Funny how you changed a few words here and there from my earlier post to convey an opposing viewpoint. You must have gone to the Joe Biden School for Creative Writing. You should consider running for the Democratic nomination.

  • I just edited your comments for accuracy. Thought you might appreciate the help.

  • Joe blow at it again... hair plugs in to deep joe

  • What a disgusting sleazeball. It's time to kick this Bush/Cheney bootlicker to the curb. I'm sick of Republicans who try to pretend they're moderate or independent and yet 99.9% of the time they do exactly what Bush and Cheney want. So long Sununu. Start looking for a real job. You won't be missed!

  • the surge is working more killed this month then last Iraqi still not living up to thier end and America is looked at around the world as an occupying invader and the single biggest threat to world security, YEA!! the surge is everything we hoped for and so much more.

  • Sen. Sununu, vote to support our troops and don't put a politically motivated timetable for leaving Iraq in play. There is a new strategy in place and it shows early signs of progress. The United States should not leave until Iraqi security forces can defend the elected government in place there. • John, 2008 would be a GOOD year to start your retirement.
