Got a question bout the god cards. I've got two: Obelisk and Ra. Both of them have normal card (have all the icons, no weird colors etc) the only difference though is the artwork. They are however from Shonen Jump. The codes are Jump-EN037 and Jump-EN45. are these actual god cards?

I'll list the some of the possible ways to tell if it's a fake card in TCG (DOES NOT APPLY TO ALL CARDS), faded ink, different effect font/name font, unsymmetrical borders or uneven borders, back of card is a different shade than real ones, does not have the konami symbol on left top corner, does not have yugioh, trading card game symbol on right bottom corner, typos or spelling errors, some have a glossy shine on card, outrageous stats, no, or no corresponding millennium puzzle stamp in corner.

There's an easier way to find out if its a fake.You look at the bottom left corner and if it doesnt have a gold square its a fake card.You might have said that and i might have missed it.

At least they got one thing right. The highest number of stars on a monster card is 12. The highest attack and defense points on a monster are 5000 unless of course it has an ability of some sort that allows them to increase their attack points. I like how you pointed out that the Dark Master is a fake. They did create legal versions of the God Cards too. That video is very good.

@Maskb7 It might have been cut badly, hence a short side, and since it's from a booster pack, it should be real. If you're still not sure, go to the Yu-Gi-Oh wiki and look up the card, and see if it's there with the same picture and description, you should also look at the page of designs for said card if the picture isn't the same, you might have a version with different artwork than the usual, as the page will show all artworks for the card.

Doesn't anyone know how to spot a fake? Simply look at the bottom-right part of the card and check if it has the "Egyptian eye" logo. If the logo is gold, it will have a 1st Edition mark. If it has a silver logo, then it shall not have anything.
