  • P.S. I was on a 30 day leave in California during Tet '68, so watched the mayhem on TV.

  • I was the Training NCO for HQ Co. 58th Field Depot in 1968, Was there from Dec 66 to Oct 68.

  • I was a guard the Qui Nhon ammunition depot when it was hit in tet 68. I hope to hear from others that were there.

  • In a land of great history and culture we all landed young, scared and counting the days to di di. I was in one of the bars in '67 celebrating my promo to E5 and a VC on a motorbike dropped a grenade just outside in the street, killing and wounding a couple of GIs, including one ROK soldier. Yea, it all sucked. You numba' one GI. Xinh loi...don't mean nuthin'.

  • @garyweitz my hometown is Quy Nhon (not Qui)...and it's not filthy...it's a beautiful seaside city...just you, American warmen are sucked and filthy...

  • was the army 526th classification and salvage near this place by any chance? 1965 or so

  • Exactly how I remember it. Filthy place. It sucked.

  • @garyweitz
