I was the Training NCO for HQ Co. 58th Field Depot in 1968, Was there from Dec 66 to Oct 68.

I was a guard the Qui Nhon ammunition depot when it was hit in tet 68. I hope to hear from others that were there.

In a land of great history and culture we all landed young, scared and counting the days to di di. I was in one of the bars in '67 celebrating my promo to E5 and a VC on a motorbike dropped a grenade just outside in the street, killing and wounding a couple of GIs, including one ROK soldier. Yea, it all sucked. You numba' one GI. Xinh loi...don't mean nuthin'.

was the army 526th classification and salvage near this place by any chance? 1965 or so
