@SangeethaDan maybe thats how u feel but even commercial movies can be taken in innovative ways (e.g. endhiran) - another example would be lingusamy's paiyya, it had no story but the road journey and romance aspect made it new

very bad movie...I do agree that it's a nice movie but not the very best from selva...the script is very powerfull, but there were couple of glitches...

Am here to say that Vettai is good entertainer and his rating of 3.2 is not very fair...

We are not that genre of people who wanna pay big bucks and cry in the theatre...

We wanna have some good time pass..

So while rating a movie,it should consider all genre (A,B and C markets) , all age groups (children to old people)..

Mayakkam enna is movie for teenage and young professionals and based on that genre,you cannot give 5/5 rating...

Just sit back and watch the collections of Vettai and compare...

i do like commercial movies run, sandakozhi are good commercial movies, but what is the point of making an entertaining movie which doesn't involve any home work or make any kind of sense. Movie can be forgiven if it lacks some logic in it, but to me a movie is just garbage if lacks everything from logic to execution and this is one of those

You might like movies like mayakkAm enna and you will give rating beyond 5...

Don't be like a young 20's guy looking for hardcore tragedic movie...that movie was a waste one..

We are stressed up in our work and some are working physically hard and lot many are there...so we need these kind of movies...

Hey man..this review is not so fair...don't expect all movies to be logic oriented and each n every scene to be very realistic..

This is a movie and we need 2.5 hrs of entertainment...this movie has fulfilled that and it's a pongal treat..

Ps: we are not cinema professionals to examine each and every art involved in cinema like you..we just need an entertainment, nice onscreen comedy, good songs... This movie has fulfilled that...

Hey man you r strictly talking against commercial film. But my thought is that rarely commercial should come with the hero liked by majority of the audience. It's a flavour of tamil cinema thats all.
