I actually like it the way they put it in the movie better. I love Alav\n RIckman, but I can see how the choir and stuff... it would be just too long of a scene. Besides, the4 rotating around Snape's head makes me dizzy

It is excellent!!! Yes, he "just stands there" but Alan Rickman is able to arouse deep emotions by just standing there with that expression. Best Snape ever.

This scene just gives me chills. Rickman was breathtaking as Snape--so simple but powerful expression on his face. It was stupid to cut this scene from the film.
