@theslabbxxx You are stupid!that 's WAR SO EVEN IF ROBIN HAD BEEN HERE HER MOM COULD HAVE DIED DO YOU THINK OF THAT DUDE?JUST THINK ONE MINUTE BEFORE SAYING BULLSHIT.AN ACCIDENT IS AN ACCIDENT AND HER MOM DIED BECAUSE OF ALIENS NOT HER DAUGHTER!!
@fisteberg Im stupid? Laughable!! Not sure what miniseries you have been viewing. Maybe your a typical ADHD, half a retard with a low attention span. Yup - Probably It. If your brain was able to retain thought ud remember the scene when Robin leaves the resistance hideout to meet her alien lover, causing her dad to go look for her, which ultimately gets him caught by the visitors who blackmail him into telling the location of the mountain base which causes the moms death. Ring a bell Moron?
How the Hell did Julie's lot get there mere seconds to minutes behind the other guy when he ditched in the middle of a fight back in town and was hauling ass in a light jeep?!
Damn, Julie was bad-ass! Staring down a V shuttle with just a regular gun and not even flinching...
One thing this show did well was that they had such a diverse group of characters...young, old, middle aged, White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Christians, Jews...and it wasn't just racial diversity, the characters also came from a diverse soci-Economic background...white collar, blue collar, street, scientists, manual laborers, housewives, cops...you barely see this much diversity these days.
Well yeah, but Independence Day is one of my favourite films of all time, so to say that an aged tv miniseries is better is saying alot from my perspective.
@Mikez4 Well yeah, all it is 3 scenes of Humans getting ass-raped in stunning VFX and then a passable dogfight, justified by a few one liners off of Will Smith.
I really enjoy seeing Julie's character develop through actual experiences. Today, we'd get a lazy series of montages so common with the two-dimensional, cookie-cutter garbage in theaters today.
The seen where she finally draws her pistol and fires at Diana's shuttle reminds me of a scene from "Patton." <3 Julie!
That very scene is also identical to the resistance fighter firing at the helicopter in El Salvador at the start of the first episode. As stated, this show is dedicated to resistance fighters for freedom in the past, present and future.
That, Robin, needs here arse kicked.

Can't believe that black reptilian dude lied to Robin's dad. Diana is so evil, and some of her people are don't wanna be like her.
Navybluthrd002 1 year ago
Despite this not being some big blockbuster film, I personally think there was some good acting here.
Diana is such a good bad guy.

I actually like V more than Independence Day, which is saying a lot.
phocjame 1 year ago
@phocjame Not really, V was an excellent well crafted series, character driven and well acted. ID4 is not. Other sci-fi fans will agree.

@phocjame The only thing ID has is better special effects. This has a better storyline, plot twists, and character development...
