@NinjaDoctor9 with luke i should probably have said anakin and he was a great force user with the end of III so i probably suck at argueing even more LOL
alright. tie pilots are EXPERTS in piloting. they are aces in the field. the reason they get pwned all the time is because the TIEs have no shielding and no armor because of speed, maneuverability and weapons capabilities. they also don't have any form of blaster on their person's and if they did, it'd be an SE-14r more than likely. JEEZ!
@starkiller710 Yeah, the only ones that can shoot are the ones you fight in Force Unleashed, and Starkiller kills all of them, so then Luke, Leia and pals don't have to put up with them.
If you watch carefully, especially in Episode 4, Leia is the best shot! The only one she doesn't hit right away is one of the guys she's shooting at across the chasm before she and Luke swing across. She seriously has the best kill ratio of anyone in that movie who's using a blaster.
@FanStoryVideoStudios i think luke is a misser, starkiller should have been the movie guy, he is badass and shows way more 'chosen one' thingies, but then again, star wars is awesome and that makes up for the rest, i saw the movie again and you are right, next time i should keep the score LOL
@starkiller710 Starkiller should have been the movie guy? Starkiller is a character that a third grader could have easily come up with lol. Come on now. Also, the only 'chosen one' is Darth Vader. The only reason why Starkiller is more powerful than him was for the sake of the game, the creators decided to exaggerate the Force to the point where there really is no competition between him and any of the Jedi from the movies. Personally, I think this was LucasArts' biggest mistake on TFU.
@NinjaDoctor9 true, but it doesn't matter, cause both the movies and tfu are great, yes starkiller was an easy character to thnk of but just without real word logic, starkiller shows his abiliteis very young, and luke just barely scratches the surface by the end of VI
i forgot darth vader still was the chosen one, but that is probably because i've read wookieepedia, it says that there was some rumor about anakin and luke, who is the chosen one?
but if i am going to argue i probably will lose...
@starkiller710 I just don't like the direction LucasArts put the Starkiller character in. When it comes to the Force, my thing is if it isn't in the movies, it shouldn't be in the EU. Anakin is the chosen one and most powerful Jedi of all time, his abilities seen in the movies are as good as the Force gets. Then TFU comes along and shatters that aspect with Starkiller's "fluctuating" abilities, I call them. One second he can move a starship and the next he can't even move a terror droid.
@NinjaDoctor9 i am not gonna argue and i reject my statements, check wookieepedia if you want, there is a forum with people who do think that they can argue, i have vacation now, i am not gonna argue if the guy is just gonna win.
@starkiller710 Haha don't worry about it man, everyone has their own opinions and can enjoy Star Wars differently than the way I enjoy it! I personally don't like the Force Unleashed games, but if you love it, great! Don't let me stop you from enjoying it. I guess I just wanted to get my point across on how the Force is a bit misused in that game in comparison to the films and how there should have been a certain balance put in place from keeping it from getting annoyingly out of control.
@starkiller710 Let us remind ourselves which came first in the mind of Lucas, and then respect the way he did it, in turn.
There is no point in admiring his work, and then saying what other things he did is ridiculous. It is all Lucas, and that is something to respect, considering none of us can fathom creating something as incredible as Star Wars. (the second paragraph is not aimed at you, it's more towards people who can't accept ALL of his work.)
In Episode V, George Lucas should've added a scene where the Star Destroyer sends out a few TIE Interceptors and when the Millenium Falcon "attacks" it, the Interceptors crash into the bridge of the Star Destroyer, destroying it.
@Apoctank Here's one thing to Star Wars to those of you who criticize me: When you're making a scene, you have to come up with some cool ideas for a scene as long as it applies to the story. Second of all, I was having fun.

If stormtroopers were piloting the fighters, then they would be stupid enough, and stormtroopers can't even shoot, so the Falcon would be OK

They use Imperial pilots, who are less armed than Imperial stormtroopers, but are more smarter, technologically speaking.

thats not the reason. i forget why but its not because the view shields as "tools of cowards". something about mass production or something

It actually alot to do with its speed. If there's a shield generator, the fighter or interceptor will decrease in speed.

He means the Falcon making a feint attack run on the SD, to lure the TIEs into colliding with it.

i can just see the scene right now. That does sound cool! I should keep that in mind to try to have in a movie somewhere.

it sounds cool but i dont think TIE pilots are that stupid
Apoctank 2 years ago 2
Between the TIE fire and fire form the Star Destroyer, the Falcon would have been done for. Before they started to "attack" they had no rear sheilds.
