I saw the list for the 2009 volleyball grandprix, she is not there anymore. I will truly miss her. I have admired her skills from the first time I saw her play in 2003 in montreaux. She's is one of a kind. Hope I can see her in person playing volleyball.
i first noticed her during busan asian games 2002...her number was 9 and her serve is so unique..i love her..small but terrible..she's one of japan's best player ever produced...in level wth obayashi, i also like KUMAMAE (she plyed n 2002 asian busan games) but i dnt knw where she is now..JPAN's team nw is detoriating because of KURIHARA'S Billions of errors and SAORI's inconsistencies.. SUGIYAMA,TAKAHASHI,TAKESHITA,ERICA and SANO are the best..the two dnt cntrbute..thats what i noticed

actually..i love to see team CHINA,JAPAN and KOREA fighting during the ATHENS 2004...its really nice to look at!

*TAKAHASHI , KUMAMAE ,SANO,TAKESHITA, ERICA, SUGIYAMA (they are japan's veterans)
*CHOI (korea) she's the only one i remembered..korea had old team during olympics..they hav new faces now recently..very new
