when blood is in ur veins, the oxygen is depleted from it. hence, the blood is blue. but whenever you get a cut, the blood is exposed to oxygen, so unless you're in a vacuumed space with no oxygen being cut, you will always bleed red blood

you are correct! sorry for the mishap.. the previous belief in biology was my theory, but 5 years ago, scientists discovered that blood in the vein is a darker red, almost purple color. guess my high school ap biology education was "up to date" at the time, but no longer true.

yea you have no idea what you're talkin about.. oxygen binds to the heme group in hemoglobin, and the binding of iron and oxygen causes the color change from blue (from iron) to red (from oxygen.. thats why veins appear blue, while arteries appear red. veins carry deoxgenated blood back to the lungs, whereas arteries takes oxygenated blood to our cells
