I've listened and seen playing Nicolas Barker... Tony Laureano and Hellhammer. I'm a drummer and for me Daray is more talented than the other.

@DarioRich daray is good yes... but i like em all, you can hear they have theire own perticular style to the drumming. My favourite is barker, what he did with dimmu is awesome. Hellhammer did an awesome job on in sorte diaboli aswell. Like em all they all deserve our respect for different reasons.

I was at their Edmonton show, fucking amazing set list and performance, of the three times I've seen Dimmu this was the best. I miss ICS Vortex, but Agnete Kjølsrud was a welcome change, I fucking love this song so much.

I'm working on this song. It's pretty easy except the blast beat part, it's not too fast for me (though i'm still a begginer in extreme drumming) but it's 25 seconds long and it kills my wrist!

Their new album is amazing. By far the best one since PEM. So symphonical it's almost too beautiful to listen to.

And the drums, god damnit, hellhammer is a fart in comparison. (Not saying that he's bad or anything, just that the recordings he did on In sorte Diaboli is not by far his best.)

There is a drummer called George Kollias, very famous, very passionate drummer. he has thousands of fans across the world, and what he says, many take to heart and benefit from it. He does not believe in a talented drummer, he believes in passion. That's what music overall is, not skill, but passion.

Daray is so sick. i was glad when dimmu borgir made him an official member after he did those tours with them, a perfect match in my opinion. If anyone wants to hear more from him check out the band vesania. Its a band hes in with orion from behemoth, they put out a cd every couple years and also another great black metal band.
