  • @MultiJacob123 No for 3D Max. Armature works in Blender only. The .obj ( 3D model + textures ) will work on 3D Max but you have to do the rigging. Also the Pterodactyl is the one in Promotion ( Free for all Subscribers of this Chanel )

The audio was jurraic park right, Awesome.

    lol

    later

  • i subbed can i have the link 2 get it for free?

  • @Argo413 its blender. you can get blender 2.49, it i rather you get blender 2.5 its the latest and i use it. (I didnt post and animations using blender...yet)

  • Awesome!! Now are the folds in his skin modeled to "fool the eye" into thinking their modeled? Or are they textured? Same with the bumps in his skin. Fabulous model!! :D

  • @LunatikTokyo What you see until 00:12 has been truly modeled. Then after 00:12 you see all the texture-Bump layers applied. However I did not applied any Normal Map into this model. No high Poly sculpt involved to create Normal Images.

  • wow! i love it!

  • What progam is used to make this one?

    Please PM me the answer

  • if you give me all your dino models ill get my friends to sub also...(and i would be really grateful

  • @darknartosdragon I have sent you a link already my friend !

  • Hey is the t-rex download free and if it is can you post a tutorial?

  • dose the rex work on 3ds max?

  • hey does this work with animation master?

  • @BurningVids2000 My friend I have no clue. Blender has many formats to export to different software platforms. What format does Animation Master use? I could make a test and send you a file to see if you can open it with Animation Mast.

  • how do i create that biped, rig it? please answer :!

  • @sodium44 Go and Download Blender and follow any of the wiki tutorials. You will learn how to rig on the fly.

  • Hey what is the difference between 3ds maya and max?

  • @JPlover2010 Those are only two (Autodesk 3dStudio Max and Autodesk Maya)Mainly the interface and some "easyness" in performing certain tasksdifferentiate them. They are both great, but they are 3.5K. It's not the kind of software you'd get for a hobby unless you are really wealthy.

Take blender here, it's free and it can do amazing stuff with it. (Coming from a max user)

  • This is amazing

  • u should do a tutorial on how making a model and an animation trust me i`ll need it.

  • good job pal

  • hee it is a+ //- good job pal!!!

  • your Blender is very different from mine, yours is easier to animate the textures are perfect, the neck of the dinosaur rocking, please help me presciso animate a T-rex with perfection, which is like what you do! five stars for you!

  • Hey Download Blender 2.49b so it will be the same thing...unless you wanted to use the 2.5 Alpha 2 which is good too but still no ready for production. Good Luck

  • my Blender is 2.49B, and the way to animate is different, you have to assemble the skeleton to animate, do not understand it

  • Oh well read the tutorials at wiki Blender...you will learn how to make skeletons...not that hard as you may think.

  • u made it in which program???

    really awesome

  • Blender 2.49b

  • THANK YOU!

  • I made an ornithopod

  • Wow 5/5

    Can I get the model?

  • hey im thinking about making a dinosaur in blender and i was wondering if you could recomend a place to get reference pics? it would be greatly appreciated. ohh and the T-rex was awesome 5 star!!

  • Thanks for you comment. About reference pics I would go for Google Images, there is an endless gallery of T-REX pics, drawings etc enough to make your 3D project.

  • thanks much appreciated :)

  • I the t-rex free?

  • also do you know where to find tutorials on how to rig like you have done in your video in blender? You can check out my t rex that i plan to animate like you have done in your video.

  • Hi Hermoor; The jiggle is made out of two bones weight painted to the fatty areas. You must model this area so the loops do not interfere with other areas of the neck also the weight painting is easier in this way. About tutorials how to rig, I really don't know exactly..Superboy has a few I guess, also blender Nation. I have been rigging based on experience and practice. I would suggest a strong knowledge of al constraint and how they work so you can open your mind at it.

  • very nice animation! Just a few things, the tail moves way too much. Almost like a lizard, which isn't super realistic. And his throat seems to be a bit too fatty. But otherwise amazing work, may I ask how you got that jiggle effect on the throat?

  • I watch your Trex. A few topology problems basically already mentioned by users at BlenderArtists. When you sculpt you have less controls of loops. Loops are key for muscle deformation so you can define closed and independent areas. This is not a rule, just my own facts...I have seen good animated models exported from Zbrush with good results. Rig it and make a short the model is not bad. Good Luck my friend.

  • T-Rex is amazing.

  • =D brilliant!

  • Thanks Stalker2315 !

  • blenderguy, I know of a PERFECT next dinosaur for you to do! A hadrosaurus, and this is because they are the only dinosaurs we can for sure say we know exactly what they looked like! (There was a 'mummified' fossil which had fossilized flesh, skin, and even pigment! There was fossilized dark pigment cells in the form of stripes on the head, front legs, and tail). Great T. rex, by the way! I wish I had those skills! I know what they looked like in real life I just can't do it on blender like you!

  • Hey Thanks ! It sounds like a pretty good idea...I need to get some good hadrosaurus sketches...Looks like a good project!

  • the blinking looked weird... never thought of a dinosaur blinking. maybe 'cause most dino movies don't show it... that I can recall. great stuff and audio syncing.

  • well I really don't know if they blinked or not. I thought it was cool and more realistic..kind of reptile thing...need to do a research for further work. Thanks for your comment!

  • WTF!!! HOLY SHIT!! THATS KICK ASS!! lol

    that was an eye poper!

  • wow man ! Thanks...glad you liked!

    Thanks for your comment !

  • Fantastic job.Thanks for sharing.

  • Hey Phillozoph50 thanks for your comment!

  • nice job

  • Thanks my friend.

  • Very nice job my man! I'm looking forward to the pterodactyl rig. 5 stars! :)

  • yeah...time to do something for subscribers!

Thanks for your comment....keep it up with the good tutorials !
