This guy Steele needs to NOT TALK. The neo-con string pullers must cringe when ever he opens his mouth.
"What Up"? Rodney King Moment?
I would like to see the RNC and the DNC chairmen both go into a room each with a California State issued spring loaded, retractable Tonfas (aka; billy-clubs, night sticks, cranium lumpers) and have a nice Rodney King moment with one another. Let the best man get his health plan.
We need a Strong PUBLIC OPTION in the final bill. Please visit the comment section for resources that will help you become more active in the fight for REAL HEALTH CARE REFORM. Thanks.
"Rodney King moment" -?! WTF? Is this token suggesting that the best why to resolve health care is for a group of men to enter a room & then the white men procede to beat the crap out of the one black man?
Ok. I'll bite. I go along with his plan as long as he's the one black man....
I adore how this clown and his GOP ilk invent what the american people think, polls or reality just don't matter to these bastards.
To hear him tell it, the status quo is awesome and the American people's top concern is the profit margins of insurance companies.
Michael Steele is a douchebag who owes his job to affirmative action, representing a party that publicly decries affirmative action. Irony, thy name is American politics.
Regardless of what his silly analogy means, stripping away 90% of what the Democrats wanted to do with healthcare reform just so they could get ONE Republican vote is cause for embarrassment, not a victory lap.
The only good thing about the Baucus bill passing is that it now allows the process to continue. Let's hope none of the Buucus bill survives in Committee.
This is exactly what "they" wanted for a min in the first place. Stop drinking the koolaid from the 2party lie; that creates division. Watch the "news" tonight and see if they are talking about OPEC dumping the dollar, or what affects the Chinese changing their derivative policy has on the dollar. How about 'news" about "O" giving up financial sovereignty to foreign governments, so it slows our dollar collapse? Do you think it's OK to allow other countries to determine our currency policies?
Big apparently doesn't understand that youtube vids aren't sourced and are often not fact based. The Army Times ran a really good article on the deployment of troops to NorCom and SoCom LAST YEAR when it happened and as for the other nonsense, Alex Jones, Ron Paul, truther and if you're a thinking individual I don't need to say anything else, do I?
He loves executive orders like Bush did. He uses his position to control an agenda that continues the P-Act which is used by the gov to control our populations rights. He just gave financial sovereignty away to foreign governments because we need to keep our dollar alive for awhile longer. 20,000 COMBAT troops assigned to FEMA through NORCOM. What happened to all you people who wanted to end all this crap? This stuff looks like a continuation of the agenda21 playbook.
Flip speaking big mouthed idiot. He crosses Rush again and his republican party will trap him in a room and give him a Rodney King moment..... Billy clubs and all.
13 seconds on nothing but truth. Those who think that mr change, who hasn't done anything he promised to do and they continue to follow their fearless leader, wouldn't understand that he was speaking of the "can't we all just get along" statement from Rodney king.
The same banks that financed the last administration finance this one. You dollar is about dead, maybe you should wake the f*ck up already.
HINT: Those who receive the carbon tax money lead to the ones who are running the show.
As soon as you pull "his" dick out of your mouth. You would assume I have insurance. It's obvious how you think Thanks for the change of face dipsh!t.
Not as retarded as someone who believes that mr change has change anything. Not as retarded as someone answering with this, instead of the facts I posted. The cap in trade bill was slammed through congress the day after day after MJ died. 1300 pages with 300 at the last min. Who gets all the carbon tax money? What countries refuse to participate? What happened to the wars ending? The terror prisons? The P-Act? The bankster bailout? THE LIST OF CHANGE?
Obama hasn't done anything he's promised to do? Where hae you been? Maybe you should think before you post buddy..he was done more(positive) things in his 10 months in office then Bush did in 8 years
How about stop torture and Gitmo? How about extending rights and a hand to gay america? How about extending his hand to the muslim world instead of saying fuck you pay me? And now healthcare reform is about to be passed for the first time in what seems like a million years. If you think thats nothing then ok, but its a hell of a lot more then bush
? ... you basically used 350 characters to say he did nothing... because everything you said either is a lie, didn't happen, or was nothing but a "gesture" which technically means nothing in politics (which measures success by action and outcome).
If you want a running tally of the what promises have been kept and which have not, I think Politifact(dot)com is doing a pretty good job with their Obama truth-o-meter.
~13% kept or compromised to achieve... looks like we have a winner. And the funniest thing? Most of that 13% is obscure/insignificant or "incomplete" ...like weatherizing 1million homes per year when they haven't even achieved half of that in 2009.
Same corporations behind him as the last, same wars plus the addition to declaration of war in Pakistan, same bailout that he participated in and shilled for when bush was in, torture prisons in foreign countries other that Gitmo, he jams bills like the carbon tax(that the IMF and UN get paid on) through congress without "time to read". The treasury sec is was the ceo at the PRIVATE FEDERAL RESERVE. Who owns that anyway???
ok the president cannot force the congress to read it. If they choose to pass something without reading it then that is their own fault. Please show me the declaration of war on Pakistan( although he did discuss that while running for pres. you must have missed it). Sorry buddy it seems like you just don't like Obama he's nothing like Bush
what the fuck is this retard talking about? and WHY would anyone get in a room with him? how many times does he have to be told that the head of the RNC does NOT make policy. jesus what a fucking moron.
Perhaps he feels like Rodney King the way he has been beaten down. Of course this beating is only because he is ignorant and can't defend his positions. How hard it must be to be a talking head who seeks recognition for ideas he never had.
Do you mean when 4 LA cops beat the crap out of King?
Perhaps when the cops were acquitted by a predominantly white jury in the conservative suburb of Simi Valley?
Maybe the 6 days of rioting that ensued? You really can't call 6 days a 'moment', so maybe you're referring to Reginald Denny or Fidel Lopez being pulled from their trucks and beaten to a pulp?
This past teabagging summer of yours was chock full of 'Rodney King moments'
It may seem simple but for most people the reference is a little lost because saying a Rodney King moment without any additional qualifiers evokes the images of the beating he took at the hands of the police officers, not his pleas to end the riots.
It goes back to what I was saying before. He really should pick his metaphors more carefully and be clearer about what he means. I don't actually think MS was ill intentioned with this but he shouldn't take for granted that everyone thinks like him

I don't look on it quite that way. I count the "kept," "in the works" and "stalled," but leave out the compromised promises.
Factored that way, it gives him 181/515, or 35%, which isn't bad considering he's only been in office for nine months.
