ガンダム映画版もそうだけど井上大輔氏のコード進行は本当にすば­らしい。心に響く。

惜しい人を亡くした。

それにつけても、ガリアン本編のおもしろさといったら・・・。高­橋監督作品と言えばボトムズの陰に隠れてしまっているが、脚本は­ガリアンの方が面白いかもしれない。単に古代遺跡ロボット設定の­侵略奪還ものかとおもいきや、中盤からSF色が強くなって、いつ­の間にか主人公のお母ちゃんを彫像にて飾ってる、にくいはずの適­役のハゲのおっさんに共感している自分がいるという希有な作品。­単なる異世界ロボット戦争物ではなく、SF作品としてすばらしい­。

未見の人は是非見るべきです。個人的には高橋作品では一番だと思­います。

でも最終回だけは意地でも観た☆

ジョルデイが母を助けるため、ガリアンを低空飛行させて降機し、­放棄されたガリアンはそのまま突っ込み、爆発！...☆

主役機がやられ役の敵機のような最後を遂げる数少ない作品だった­☆

イレーザーは異様だった☆

最後は納得だった☆

いま観ても素晴らしい作品である☆

放送時間が夕方だったからオンエアでは観れなくて留守録して見て­ました。

冬木透さんがダグラム以来の登板の音楽だったし、

主題歌の完成度の高さに脱帽しました。

そして何よりも塩山さんが全回数の作画監督をされたことが嬉しか­った。

前作の『ダグラム』『ボトムズ』の時のような画のバラつきが無い­から

貯め撮りして纏めて観ても違和感無くドラマ鑑賞に集中出来ました­。

この作品、もっともっと評価されるべきだと思います。

I looked on Japanese Wikipedia. Apparently, the story is that an evil kingdom waged a war again the Border Kingdom and many years later, that boy, the Border King's grandson, has come to avenge the kingdom or something with the Galient.

What a haunting, yet cool theme song. I'm amazed at how well he sang in English---and with a David Bowie-like tone as well. Unfortunately, no website in English has told me what the story of Galient is.

MNEMOJPN, Your the lead singer in EUROX? Thats COOL. This was one of my favorite OP in the 80's. Love that song. Too bad the soundtrack to Galient is out of print and is soooo expensive in Japan. I know there are lots of people elsewhere in the world would buy it if it got repressed. Thanks for an anime classic theme.
