how did you get that water bottle to stay??!! Usually you have to get a water bottle that comes with the stuff to put it on the side of the cage, and I've had that water bottle. Did you use velcro?

Your hamster runs on the wheel like that because he is scared, I just wanted to say. When they run excessively like that on the wheel they're relieving stress and stopping them self from panicking. Also, those edges on the holes you cut out on the containers are not safe for your hamster when he goes in and out of it and neither is the containers as it's such thin plastic they can chew threw it and store it in their cheeks which could damage their cheek pouches! :( Besides that great video!

the edges on the plastic container culd cut ur hamster. i did the same thin with my mice. all u need 2 do is put duct tape on all of the edges so it cant cut itself :P

We locked it in so that only we could get it out and it wouldn't disappear for days on end...he died of depression :( r.i.p Daisy, yes he was a boy called daisy...ha ha ha :) That little hamster in the video might get cut :( good luck little hamster!!!

Actually it depends if the bedding is pine or cedar it CAN hurt your hammie.

I use toilet paper rolls sometimes, they can be dangerous though.

The plastic house is really dangerous, the could chew it up and the stuff gets stuck in their stomach.

Popsicle sticks are ok but DO NOT PAINT THEM unless the paint is non-toxic.

And just because the bedding was recommended doesn't mean it's good for the hammie. I use Carefresh, which I find Really good.

Anyways, srry for telling ya what to do.
