  • You can't make 4D animations because our computers don't have it and we only really have it in theory.

  • If it was 4d it would be smacking you in the face.

  • i need 4d glasses

  • Not 4D. You cann't express 4D in a 3D environment..... other wise what stops us from being in 4D

  • @NickMinaj69 That's like saying you can't express 3D in a 2D environment. Yet you can play Call of Duty on your 2D TV screen all the time.

  • @SystemsLock But isn't actual 3-D. They use shading and roundness to similate 3-D... which seems logicall now to say well why can't you use a similar technique to make 4-D, and thats because the fourth dimension doesn't run on simple principals like this. We can't really imagine what a 4-D would look like. And this is simply a very well rendered 3-D animation. As well as what Chetanwithlove said, the shadow would have to be in 3-D which isn't true either.

  • That's not 4d that's just a couple of curves going through eachother. 4d is time

  • @XxRamboPandaxX That's an alternate theory. Do more research before you make an ass out of yourself next time, ok?

  • @XxRamboPandaxX your wrong, time is not the 4rth dimension. How can it be the 4rth dimension? 1st and second dimension and the other dimensions both have it. And its just a theory, time as the 4d

  • like an orgasm for the eyes

  • MOMMY!!

  • Awesome animation but my brain just melted and now there's nobody to clean up the mess! ;P

  • light travels in 1D, an array of lights shows us 2D, multiple reative perspectives (2 eyes) lets our brain decipher 3D even though we don't actually "see" it. If I could somehow look in all directions simultaneously from multiple points using both microscopes and telescopes I might get a glimpse of the 4th dimension, maybe the app store has something that does it....

  • @Thripd Having two eyes aid in our ability to see 3D but it is not required. Your computer monitor only displays one image to both eyes yet it is still possible to play 3D video games or look at 3D objects.

  • @Thripd If you wanted to truly see in 3D (to infer 4D) you would have to see in all directions from all points. A good analogy is to look at a square from its side (you should see only a line). Then, more your perspective so you see the square from the top down (you should see the whole square). By doing so you have gained the ability to see the "insides of the square" and are thus viewing all 2D points simultaneously.

  • @chetanwithlove ... and how exactly do you propose to show a 3d shadow in a 2d medium?

  • wth is 4D?

  • my brain hurts..

  • I kinda understand. We as humans see in 2D, our minds make 2D pictures. A 4D enitity would view something in 3D, seeing all sides of it. i think this is trying to show a loop, showing us all planes of the loop. Hence multiple loops. I think.

  • @Haayyyden Imm soo fkungggg BAD at math or anuthing else and im 14 ;l

  • I can just see the wires moving across :|

  • @usamaawais Obviously its not really 4d idiot

  • @IThurts2J1zz hehehe i know it =P

  • its just F*cking impossible for a stupid human to see something so near of god!

  • this isn't 4D. Fourth dimension is Time, you can't model time.

  • The fourth dimension is time.

  • @ZepHClaN1 ??? no it is not....1d would be a point in nothing. 2d. would be a line between 2 points in x-y . 3d would be a a line between 3 dots in x-y-z and the 4demension would be an expansion from that in a other non existing dimension

  • @hanfgamer its wrong. A point is adimensional (or no-dimensional, i dont know exactly how to say that in english). 1D is a linear construction, that can or cannot be straight and may have 2 or infinite points in it. 2D is a plan, like youtube for example, anything that's plan. 3D means solid objects, and that's the three spacial dimension we have (until now). Time isn't exactly the "4th dimension", it's the only time dimension we know, if we consider time to bem linear that will be 1D.

  • Four space dimensions are possible in theory, and we cannot really see it. So this model is plausible, because its a simulation.

  • IF the object is 4D its shadow should have been a 3D

  • actually the object IS the shadow of a fourth dimensional figure.

  • @chetanwithlove

    no i think.

  • that is 100% true and the best argument against this but i think the point was to represent the most accurate model of an oscillating tesseract because for the reason you just stated its impossible to ever show a true 4d object

  • @chetanwithlove sorry, nice logic but incorrect unless the light was also 4D light. Our light only travels in 3D so it still casts a 2.d shadow. For example, paper doesn't only cast a 1D shadow (from the side yes) also i recognize paper is 3D it's just an example

  • @chetanwithlove a 3-d shadow????????? i cant even imagine that

  • @chetanwithlove the object you see is the 3D shadow of a 4D object projected onto a 2D screen :P so actually it does show the shadow :P

  • @chetanwithlove Ah you miss something. This is just a 3D representation of a 4D object also known as a tesseract. It does not have a #D shadow because it is in 3D itself.

  • do we have 4d software or higher or is that a stupid question?

  • der a "4d" animation, made with 3d sofware and shown on 2d display what a nubcake it doesent work

  • This looks 2d from my perspective

  • Well, a 3D cube has length, width, and depth. A 4D cube has length, width, depth and "?". What is "?"?

  • wow, it seems like it is alive

    NOPE, CHUCK TESTA

  • 4D..3D..2D.. okay I get it

  • *mindfucked*

  • lol the awkward moment when the top comments are the same

  • human eye can not see in 4D....

  • @MrReignman28 Yes it can.

  • @ryanstempien1 no, it cant...

  • The only thing 4D about this is the lack of collisions... but then, that can happen with 3D computer-generated models. Nothing about this video actually shows the presence of a fourth dimension.

  • @johannhowitzer How doesn't it?

  • @OMGITSDRJESUS Three dimensions can be suggested on two-dimensional surfaces via optical illusions, but that is possible because we are used to perceiving three dimensions, so our brain fills in the blanks. This video claims to represent four dimensions in a two-dimensional video. Our brains have no basis for filling that part in, as we aren't equipped to perceive a fourth spatial dimension, so this appears three-dimensional at most.

  • @johannhowitzer I see, so how would we be able to perceive a fourth dimensional object?

  • @OMGITSDRJESUS As an array of three-dimensional objects or universes. Each dimension is a series of universes of one dimension lower. We traditionally understand the fourth dimension as time, but it's also possible to represent a fourth spatial dimension in terms of coordinates. Look up the game "Miegakure" - it represents the fourth spatial dimension the only way a game realistically can.

  • erm, gimmie the equation pls (LxBxHx?)

  • seems legit

  • I'm fag

  • The only thing I now that exist and is real and 4dimensional is this moment, why? because it exist right now at the same time with 1 million years ago and at the same time with 1 million of years of the future, so this moment exist in 3 different time planes, past does not get destroyed it exist, present is this moment but it belongs to the 4d moment, future already exist, without it time and moment would reach an end.

  • 0:22 look at it.Its honeydew diggy a hole!

  • my mind is now F'd!

  • 4D = time thats just a trippy 3D animation

  • @Devera510 so you believe in timetravelling?

  • @Tomswattatatata only if its backwards to a point where the time traveling device was first turned on. any time before then would be impossible, that and traveling back farther could cause serious problems, like say us no longer existing and therefore not being able to go back in time and make ourselves not exits.

  • How is it 4d when the lines pass through themselves? I saw it :(

  • @BLinDaTbESt they aren't you just aren't looking at it in the right way.

  • Humans exist in 4D because the fourth dimension is time!! Not a 4D animation...

  • @MaddieMusic42 it is 4d because we are seeing 24 seconds of the animation.

  • @MaddieMusic42 you can call the fourth dimension time but in this animation you are seeing an object that could exist if there was a fourth physical dimension, just like up and down, left and right, or forward and backward are to us.

  • @MaddieMusic42 for humans to truly exist in the fourth dimension, if it is time, then we'd have to be able to see the whole of our time as a sort of time-space worm of our lives. So seen as you can't see that. no, you don't like in the fourth dimension. You live in the third.

  • its shadow is only 2d, a 4d shapes shadow would be in 3d.

  • @jamboss3 It's a shadow of a shadow~!

  • 4D Is Impossible To See By A Human In Anyway... Its Just 3D That Looks Weird Why Is Everyone So Stupid...

  • @02CARTheGamer You're watching it on a flat screen so it's 2D not 3D.

  • @02CARTheGamer Humans can only see in 2D

  • @Sahfarry No, we see in three dimensions because we have two eyes. When we focus on the same object with both eyes, this causes it to come into focus with two varying angles. This is what gives us depth perception and is why those with only one working eye have such terrible perception. If a cyclops existed, it would only see in two dimensions, but we can see in all three dimensions.

  • @Riverweasel09 The fact that we need depth perception is because we can't see in 3D. We can't tell for sure where something is in 3D space, but a second eye helps us see "both sides" of an object helping us perceive depth.

Or I could be entirely wrong, but as long as I'm not living in the 4th dimension, we'll never know anything for sure.

  • This is nothing but computer effects isnt it? Time is the fourth dimension. You cant even begin to make a four dimensional shape in a three dimensional environment - or rather you can't observe a four dimensional shape if your sense's and reality is created for a 3D world. You'd see the 3D parts but the 4D parts wouldnt be visible.

  • @dadubs93 Time is the fourth dimension, but this is talking about the 4th SPATIAL dimension, and this isn't a 4D object, it's a shadow of a 4D object rotating off it's W axis.

  • ???????????

No comment but what I must say, that I dont think that there is a thing called 4D yet

  • What is here 4D?! Thats 3D not more it looks only strange

  • good game

  • a 4d model shown in a 3d environment on a 2d computer screen....

    hmmmm....

  • @azarjeazar777 @daBigDANi Dimension-ception :D

  • @azarjeazar777 computers are the 4D

  • @azarjeazar777 Who cares, it looks cool

  • @azarjeazar777 lmao...

  • @azarjeazar777 written in 1d code

  • Thanks for the brain f#ck. Now I won't sleep

  • @soundincentive LOL man I just smoke somethin and I cant take my eyes off of it... haha

  • @3CL1PS3muzik

    No kidding. Free ride on the dream land for me. Still staring at it after 22hours....aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... ;}

  • @soundincentive I'm still here too bro... PLZ HELP MEEEEEEE :P

  • HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?! :O

  • mind... blown...

  • Oh hey, it's a spherical tesseract.

  • @Pendergeist no such thing, the word you're looking for is hypersphere or (n-sphere) which is a 4D construct visually described in 3D

  • Comment removed

  • nice idea

  • la quarta dimensione è l'ombra?

  • pardon?

  • Topology.

  • a "4d" animation, made with 3d sofware and shown on 2d display. :D

  • its not 4d its a 3d illusion yet they dont have discovered the 4d, but the idea is that you can see an object from all each sides at the same time something that cant happen because human eyes can see from one direction

  • Wow, windows screensavers have been teaching us things were too ignorant to remember... Livin in the moment.

  • i dun think that this object is a fixed thing.

  • So 4d is the complete motion and sort of like window of the beginning to the end?

  • wierd

  • Well, call me ignorant, but as far as my three-dimensional eyes can observe, I'm watching a two-dimensional image of a three-dimensional shape that can pass through itself. While a four-dimensional shape might resemble this if forced into three dimensions, like a drawing of a cube, a closer simulation of a four-dimensional shape would involve a lot of the faces being transparent.

  • That's actually a 3D shadow of a 4D object (hypersphere?).

  • @Jireky Not a hypersphere. Those actually look roughly like spheres.... but scarier.

  • Of course! I agree with the video

  • Looks 3 dimensional with the ability to pass thru itself.

  • Comment removed

  • HYPNOTISING !!!

MAJOR TRIADZ = FUNKY FRESH HIP HOP :)

  • By brain hurts.

  • WHATTA FRICK!

  • I just cant get my head around these

  • BEST. SCREENSAVER. EVER.

  • sorry but thats not 4D theres a new movie out and its 4D and i will be going to watch it and see if its true! you are meant to be able to smell whats on screen pretty useless but hey it looks pretty awesome

  • @paws27 thats not 4D in the mathematical term, that "4D" is just advertisemant cuz it "sounds cool"

  • @koerund what would 4 d look like is it even possible for us to see 4 d

  • @goatmilk257 we cant even begin to imagine, a very good example, its like imagining a new color, impossible.

  • @koerund its the program you fucktard

  • @ChazyChazta you didnt even read to what message i replyd that you fucktard, you should gather all information first before making conclusions.

  • @koerund 4D is time :D

  • @gmodwirehelp no this is about the 4th dimension of space, its just a way to call it but doesnt change the subject in question ;)

  • @koerund I can imagine that it's really a 4D shape. When you rotate a 4D shape from the fourth dimension, the shape as it's shadow exists in the third dimension doesn't just rotate; it morphs. Meanwhile, it morphs even more as it's shadow exists in the second dimension. I just want to know what this fourth dimensional shape is called. The only one I've ever heard of so far is the hypercube. The animation for it morphs like crazy in the third dimension as it's rotated in the fourth dimension.

  • @bs321321 duuude u should read the comment i replied to too... i replied to pawns27 this cuz he thought that those stupid 4D movies theyre making would be like this... i know what u told me thank you very much :)

  • @koerund Oh, you're talking about that guy's movie. Sorry about that. I just wanted to make sure we've all done the same research on the fourth dimension. That's two of us. Anyone else?

  • @koerund no it would be 4D mathematically, its not just to sound cool, that is rotating around a single axis (think spinning around) and because we don't comprehend four dimensions well (just as a person who gets a really bad lazy eye fixed can't "see" in 3D usually) so it looks like it passes through itself (and it is on a 2D screen)

  • @l0l0binaryl0l0 read the message i replied to dumbass and dont try to sound smart. gather all information before commenting. why else would it be one of the top rated comments?

  • @koerund some people get top comments just by asking for a top comment... so what

  • @cc931234 and some people get top rated because they put good comments

  • @paws27 The 4th dimension isn't smell LOL. (Hint: it's actually time)

  • @jman945x well i never said it was but theres a movie coming out and it sasy its 4D i think it a load of bullshit to dont get me wrong but they think they made 4D but they didn't but sorry but i i dont think its 4D

  • @jman945x but time doesn't exist...

  • I'm sad I'll never comprehend that shape in 4D.

  • you have to smell it for it to be 4d...

  • @SuperNeonCupcakes NO NO NO! Where did you get that shit?!

  • @AlphaKiloOscarZulu i went to a 4d theatre at the vancouver aquarium lol :D

  • @SuperNeonCupcakes Hahaha well 4d is NOT smell :P That's just a silly gimmick

  • @AlphaKiloOscarZulu actually 4d is the senses if its a film :) so its smell touch taste see hear and yeah all that stuff, so i guess this is 3d lolz

  • @SuperNeonCupcakes Alright then, but this is a 2d representation of a 3d object, which is in turn representing the shadow of a 4d object. diregard the shadow in the background, it's not meant to be there. In your mind, replace the red with black, as if it was all a shadow. The white background is a, say, sheet of paper. You are seeing a shadow of a 4d object on a sheet of paper. :)

  • @AlphaKiloOscarZulu my mind has been fucked my science, you got me bro! sorry when i think of 4d i think of the theaters where they spray water in your face and yeah... this is cooler xD

  • @SuperNeonCupcakes Hahhaha absolutely true! Try not to visualise 4d, it's like if we only ever knew a 2d world (forward backward, left right) and we tried to think of 3d (up down), it's simply impossible haha :P

  • @AlphaKiloOscarZulu so if we lived in 2d it would be like living in a comic book :) is that a simpler way to visualize it? living in a comic book with depth?

  • @SuperNeonCupcakes Watch this, /watch?v=UnURElCzGc0 I found it to be a very good example of it :)

  • @AlphaKiloOscarZulu thank you. im a total idiot xD ur smart

  • @SuperNeonCupcakes Haha na man it's all good you can't be an idiot if you're willing to learn! :P Might I ask, what is your age?

  • lol... this is NOT 4D...

it's just a computer rendered 2D animation simulating a whacked out 3D space.

IMO, there are infinite spatial dimensions.

...and then there is Time; a byproduct of motion & dimension...

which Time is only manifested from mankind's mind, so it really doesn't exist as an entity.

  • @RJFlashCOM

    Don't overstate the overstated obviousness.

  • @Yezpahr LOL! I can't help it :P

  • Fucking hell take a crash course in the fundamental principles of relativity please... But I would like to know what animation software you used- can you tell me?

  • @circusstripes11 oO if you don´t know what is going on there please shut up...

  • @asgarrott Ok :) I leave you guys to ponder stupid impossibilities while I finish my PhD thesis on theoretical physics. Bye bye!

  • 4-D slinky

  • This isn't a proper representation of something in 4D. This would be a shadow of a 4D object, which is a 3 dimensional shadow, which is dimmed down even more to 2D on your monitor

  • I can clearly see that people are watching these videos just because they want to know what 4D actually is well after few years of research of 4d I come to this conclusion:

If 1dimensional creatures have an eye they would see only one dot.

If 2 dimensional creatures have an eye they would see only a line.

We 3D creatures actually see two 2D images so we have 3D illusion

And finally 4D creatures actually see in 3D witch make them able to see inside 3D creatures .

  • I've seen enough hentai to know where this is going...

  • @rorcon amen brother lol

  • @rorcon

    My body is ready.

  • @rorcon Did you copy and paste that comment?

  • @rorcon i dont get it

  • @rorcon You're talking about hentai, so I'll throw out a wild guess as to what you're thinking... in our butts?

  • @rorcon LMAO very good job on that one.

  • interesting.

  • This is still just plain old 3 dimensions, the only thing that showing a animation like this does is show us what the shadow of a 4D shape would look like.

  • 4D = 3d pitcure with wow movment

  • this is dumb because in real life we cant see the fourth dimension so it is impossible. after all, WE LIVE IN THE 3rd DIMENSION.

  • @supasaul No, but you can see a 3d projection of a 4d image, like a Tesseract. This thing isn't 4d though.

  • Chuck Norris shits this out on a daily basis....

  • 4D animation of 3D object on a 2D surface. Is that possible?

  • @spookycorp technically no, because the "4D" object you are looking at is really only what the shadow of it would look like, just like how if you hold a see-through cube under a light source and look at its shadow, the shadow is a distorted 2D projection.

  • @StubNub This whole thing isn't possible than. :) The biggest obstacle here are our TFT, LCD, CRT screens, don't you think? How many dimensions there are on the screen it self? In both technical and practical sense.

  • in 4D you can see a 3D object all at one time

  • always the japanese who stole our ideas and made it quicker then us!
