Bush said in his State of the Union address that our economy is "in recession." It's may not be the quantity of jobs that is lacking but it is certainty the quality. Our dollar is trading for ridiculously low amounts in comparison to prior the Iraq war. And no, sir; tax cuts do not benefit the American people when you've caused a trillion dollar deficit by flat-out lies and your nation cannot therefore afford it.

Bush never said saddam was part of 9/11. He said any state that harbors or aids terrorists is a terrorist nation and we all know saddam in 02 took zarqawi in when he was hurt in afghanistan and gave him aid at a baghdad hospital a full year before we went into iraq. WMD's were only one of the ten reasons Bush gave in the IRAQ WAR RESOLUTION. Plus we found over 500 thounsand tons of yellowcake and other weapons he said he did not have.

I think it is Ironic that the Republicans went to war on purely speculative WMD when at the moment, North Korea just recently made an Hbomb and the republicans merely want to 'Give Economic Penalities'. Their unwillingness to make any military action against NKorean sadly gives me the idea that there were ''Ulterior reasons'' for the Iraq war. Pro-American for sure! But not necessarily to 'dis-arm Iraq'.

If you knew anything about national sovereignty or international politics, you would know that declaring war on North Korea is about the most likely way to start WW3. The Internet hoax was about the draft being reinstated. Bush lied via lied-to Colin Powell's presentation to U.N. The world assumed truthfulness. Colin was fed lies, as were the Senate & House, by other GOP officials. It was not legal to invade & occupy without a war declaration from Congress and/or a U.N. mandate for armed action. Everybody acted/voted based on lies. Salvage our honor. Do what The People of Iraq, the Constitutional gov't of Iraq & 85% of U.S. People want. Get out ASAP.

The Democrats also funded this immoral war in the wake of 9/11. My simple solution was go look for Bin Laden. Then fund DOMESTIC anti-terrorism and work with the other nations who want to stop Al Queda. As liberal, I had no problem using my taxpayer dollars to protect us against cells of terrorist. But the Iraq war is 100% wrong -- it's George Jr. going after the guy who tried to assasinate his father in Kuwait. That, and the military-industrial complex doing it's war thing to make money.

The "reason" Democrats AND the rest of the country were "up in arms" during the 9/11 attack is because our president "swore" that Iraq was behind the attack AND that they had WMD's. Arguably, yes. But the CIA had already concluded six months prior to the war that no such weapons existed and that while Saddam had communicated with Al-Queda in the early 90s, there was no further communication afterwards.

I'm not saying that others didn't continue to say that there were such weapons in Iraq prior to our invasion. But surely Bush would know to listen to the CIA of all groups before anyone else.
