@TheNadster2 i havent played bioshock yet, but if your looking for scary games, try amnesia the dark descent, its a game for pc only and its available on steam, there are no weapons in it, so you feel helpless rather than being able to easily kill enemies, and the sanity meter and darkness, its a really brilliant game

Just to clear up anybodies confusion about the timeline, the first game takes place on new years eve 1959 (So 1st of janurary 1960 really).

Its mentioned more in the second game via voice clips that andrew ryan began building the city in the mid 1940's and its official opening ceremony was new years eve 1955. so basicly you get there 5 years after the contruction of the city was complete.

I'm also wondering if this game is a hard one to play. The Big Daddies seem to be a really tough fight. If you died, do you restart right before the fight or do you have to restart back a lot earlier etc.?

Yeah once you get in to the game and start understanding the story it's not that scary acctually. ^^ It was a bit creepy at some points, but you'll get over the fear.

And if you feel like taking advice from a random stranger, I'd say you should get Bioshock!

I'm very good at PC FPS but I'm not familiar with console FPS (although I'm starting to get better at stuff like Borderlands)

I play all my games at medium difficulty, and sometimes at hard. I don't mind the Big Daddies being hard, but I don't want it to be punishing (i.e. if I die, I don't want to have to walk back for 30 minutes)

this game is over-rated, the graphics are very nice, the theme is unique and original, BUT its the SAME gameplay, kill splicers/big daddy's, and hacking hacking and MORE HACKING!!!, Ive had big daddy walk over my proximity mine(1) and it didnt detonate!, and some objects say "use" like the sinks and phones, you push the button and it wont interact/work all the time, almost like this game was rushed, im glad I got this when it was already $20, good but NOT GREAT

yea this game is amazing. i thought it was stupid untill i first tried it out. i just couldn't stop playing it and i beat it in three days cause i just wanted to get to the end. the game has a pretty long story line (around 20 hours or so depending on how good you are and difficulty setting) that keeps you hooked at every turn so i definitely reccomend this for everybody cause no matter who you are, you'll love bioshock! :)

Hmm one thing ive noticed in the video is that it loads while playing like it stops and then continues I just got this on the ps3 :D it doesnt load during gamplay is this only for 360? Overall great game I was about to return until i found out i could hack robots and turrets. then after getting different plasmids it got better i only have the electro and incenrate plasmids as of now. And the graphics are amazing on both ps3 and xbox! played on both and can say theyre equal.
