@stout1127 Lots of practice and repetition. It helps if you go out with another trained Springer where you look at how the other dog owner handles their dog.
One tip I will give if is before you get them to do anything get them sit, they have to know that you in command and they can't just run about and do their own thing I found this makes a huge difference with my Springer. Also keep commands to one word, 'sit', 'stay', 'fetch', 'dead'. All of the other staff comes naturally to them
@stout1127 go to a gundog specific training class (ig googled my local one) then to finnish him/her off join a few shoots. if you are new to the sport like i was its best to let the trainer assess what your dog would be best at doing and working on, some dogs dont have the wright personalities pick up and are best off beating e.t,c. other wise you are fighting a loosing battle.

i have a springer spaniel how do you train them like this?
my springer is only about 7 months old ? he is a hunting dog not a show springer
