Halo 2: How to kill Tartarus in legendary

I remember using the Banshee on him and just obliterating him. Had to do a lot of spinning with the Banshee to get it inside, but once it's in this part is extremely easy.

Ironically, I found the first level of Halo 2 to be the most difficult one on legendary.

in my halo 2 johnson only shoots him 2 times and u have to get the shield off him urself. i tried everything example that banshee, not worked. So i tried killing every fucking brute and shit from there. only problem was bullets, they ran out pretty fast. finally i got him killed. it took me 3 days XD

I actually got really lucky on my Legendary run with him. The dumbass jumped towards me while I was running to get the f*ck away from him and he jumped right off the side. I was laughing so hard. Has anyone else had that happen to them?

iv killed him without the banshee. the best way is to get your own beam rifle, the get either a carbine, or dual weild plasmas (red or blue) and stick on top of the structure., and keep an eye on reinforcements, they are the most dangerous thing on legendary.

anyways i think there actually is a way to kill him though : you need to shoot him with all the banshee's fire-power after jhonston shoots, do that about 5 times and his shields will go down!

i killed tartarus with two bneedlers with 120 ammo every time his shield came down i shot him then repeat process

also if you want you can get a banshee in it

this isnt legendary because a new wave of brutes didn't come. I did it on legendary and about 5 or 6 brute reinforcments come when he is almost dead. Sorry to blow your cover. Good job killing him though despite what deficulty it was on

just shoot down his shields with beam rifle then use the energy sword to kill thats what i did (but u got to get a good distance fire 3 shots with beam rifle then the Tartarus will stop for a split second then run switch and slash)

Its is legendary because on legendary his shileds recover faster and it depends where you strike the brute with and energy sword to kill it

i don't think it is man. but correct me if i'm wrong it takes two hits to kill brutes wtih a sword, and johnson never fires 3 shots in legendary, he fires two, fast, than the gun overheats. thanks for the vid anyway
