It's a personal taste thing, but there is just too much knock, and too little snap for my liking. Never did like a snare without a rattle, but it seems like it's over compensated. Is this a vogue that''s specific to the genre? Another way to even it, would be to ramp up everything at >4k, sidechaining of any sibilance, but I doubt this would be a problem with this hit.
@boogiefiend yeah well to be onest that snare is what makes this genre of music what it is you cant have reggaeton with out that snare or else it would just be reggea lol but people that like this music love that snare sound after a while youll get use to it if you play it alot you wont even notice it lol
ah, gotcha, fair enough mate. I think it's cool how old engineering rules get toyed with nowadays to make something that has it's own character. I quite like a lot of glitchy fidgety house stuff, so I guess the same rule applies here. Peace B
@boogiefiend yeah it aplys to anything really music is only diffrent becuase of surten intruments and the way you play them i started producer music thanks to what u hear here thoe and its the truth now i can make any type of music =]
