Question:'What does that have to do with his family from Slovakia' doesn't make sence. Paul`s father Peter Stastny have 3 brothers and everyone working most for Slovakian hokey then for canadians. In official statistics Peter Stastny is best Slovakian player in history of NHL. Maybe Peter Bondra`s children will be great NHL players but he and Peter are Slovakians. They played for Slovakia and Czechoslovakia since 1990(Bondra started later).

I love Stastny and I am very greatful the Avs have him and will for a while...and he's really good all around player, but he's not the dynamic type of player to change the game like Duchene could be...but that being said Stastny is great!

what i ment was the way he plays the game the way he skates the way he shoots and passes and gets back on defense its all almost exactly the way joe sakic did it probably because sakic taught him how to be a pro over the last 3 years now stastny has to teach that stuff to matt duchene and i guarantee you one of them will be a great #1 center in the nhl for years to come and i would never EVER disrespect joe sakic
