I'm Mexican, and I know what good migas are........this woman came as close as anybody else on Youtube.... Yes! I've been watching people make migas all morning! I woke up early and couldn't fall back asleep! I'm also gay, and I'm strangely turned on by this woman........ holy crap, I think she made me straight! Wait, it's over...she fun though.
It's hard to make this call but I think my favorite part of all the videos is when Hilah takes a humongous bite at the end and then chews...for a long time. Just looks so damn good LOL
migas? is that what it's called?? how funny! my mom used to make this for us as kids, but we never had a name for it... to us, it was just, "mama, can u make us the eggs with the tortillas inside?!" lol... thanks hilah! =)
I am from Mexico and migas, is a soup made with stale bread in a broth of garlic and chili morrita. Typically for breakfast and known to be a hangover cure. :-) The Tex-Mex version looks good too.
@meknewxenu That's very interesting! I love learning about how foods change over time and distance. Please let me know of any other differences like that you notice!
October..... Well I guess I should just hope for a rockin new season then. haha. Meanwhile I probably should make the meals you've alredy made a video about :P
i will miss seeing new videos of you. at least your channel is staying up so we can watch your videos over and over again! something to look forward to in october at least.
i love migas. i made them for my family last year but they didn't like them, so i promptly replaced them with a new family. also - @1:18 i think you pissed off our other food group friend "fruits". remember them? enjoy your vacation. summer ends in september.
@hilahcooking There are diferent recipes depending on the part of Spain: Migas andaluzas, extremeñas, manchegas... some are made with corn flour, some with wheat flour, typical ones are made with stale bread. Have a look in tourspain org for a recipe in English, so you get the idea.
Started off with "Oh hey, why is she seductively sitting on the counter?" Then turned into "Dammit! Until October? Noo!!!" Then "Hi Five! Whiskey in the middle of the day and partying!"
Hey there Hilah, I've never heard of Migas but man it looks great, I really like the torilla strips thrown in there to give it more substance and a bit of crunch. I'm a fatty so I'd throw in bacon too, mucho delciouso!!! Great episode....
So I'm going to be going thru some serious Hilah/Hilah cooking withdrawls, hope I make it thru to October. Have a great summer and I look forward to more awesome food when you return. BTW you have hot legs
I'm bummed that I have to wait til OCTOBER for new recipes, but I get your drift here - I hate cooking in the summer, I'd rather hang out at the beach and let the men barbecue. I live in MN and I only get 3 months of sunshine and warmth and I ain't spending it in the kitchen! Enjoy your summer! =D
Is this free at restaurants?
