My Golf MK2 GTI KR max speed

i have an 88 gti i swapped the kr, for a bam 20v, its running 403bhp at the wheels at the moment, i just got a corrado, im going to vr turbo it, vw rule

Engine is alive and well yet;) still runs the same speed without a problem, now just looking for something faster and my next engine will have 300 + horsepower;)

i dont have a ecotec i have a c20xe kadett and he needs 7liter fuel and much better motor than vw mk2 gti but doesnt matter everyone for hisself

but vw motor does not take long..every year new motor :D

thats bullshit! i have a 1979 original golf gti mk1 (so 30 yrs),and the block and pistons is perfect too... in the last week brought my engine by enginerepairer. i said again its 30 years!!! u don't know vag engines, so be quiet man :D anyway i think u r prejudicted, and ur god is OPEL...

c20xe's life is shorter and oileater too, what everybody knows, but hot engine;)

i know lot peopel with gti and they have teh 3rd engine my c20xe is from 88 has 218000km no oil eating and no fuel and always fater than every golf and corrado

i have owne three mk2's the fastest i could get the first two was 195k/ph the one i have now has hit 210 k/ph then i got pulled over and got hit with ticket for 173 in a 100 zone all cars just had intake exhaust and suspension mkII for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm I got a GTI EV 1.8 with 112 HP (940kg basic weight) and it seems to accelerate much faster than this here, allthough it's a 139 KR...

0-60mph 9 Secs.. (with 2 persons) from 190 (actually max speed goes up to 220 though withouth problems and at 5500Rpm) to 210 it also accelerates extremly fast and u really feel the pressure.. can't tell the times though..

No it cant. I had a -90s CL with 88 hp. It did 165. That was it.
