  • @markcirelli there is 2 wire, 2 vacuum line switch on the middle of the firewall beneath the hood seal. My switch went bad and was doing the same thing.

  • I like the S10 ZR2 truck better

  • I miss my blazer, I loved that car mine was named Wawa....

  • @chance1844 Me too!!!

  • I wish I had that roof rack on my blazer!

  • Nice blazer, how much did that guy bench

  • There's a reason jeep's are considered one of the most off road capable vehicles, but that's not a cherokee, just to point that out.

Nice blazer, looks good, seems to work good as well.

  • @norcobigfootrider Nevermind, ignore me lol. Just being a troll hahaha. Scrolled down to early, failed to see the cherokee before posting.

  • i got a 2000 zr2 i put a 350 v8 and i cant get the front lockers to ingage the transfer case does but the lockers dont any ideas im pissed all this work and no 4wheel drive

  • 31 must be 4Runner owners

  • Cool video

Surprised nobody was using a snorkle

  • that is the sickest blazer i have ever seen. wish mine was like that.

  • dude the only blocks u know about are legos

  • @123rustypipes actually he has a valid point there. couple months ago my 02blazer cracked #2 cylinder at silver lake in 4 ft. water. big boys dug it out 3 hrs after I went thru the hole. wasn't that deep when i went thru. so easy on the insults. btw, my blazer has 31" STT's, 2'' susp lift, and it went thru stuff people nvr throught i'd make it thru, or over. effn beast!

  • Surprised you didn't crack your block driving a hot motor into ice cold water. Stupid idea, but i am impressed that you made it through it.

  • the blazer needs e lockers

  • who flipped the truck

  • thats a jeep for ya!! :P

  • the 4 bangers they have suck balls even worse then the 2,8s

  • on the argument about the blazer and bravada no there not the same. the blazer has a 4wd or rwd the bravada is a awd way different drivetrains and the geer ratios ranged from 4.10 to 3.42 so not all rear ends where the same. as far as the engines the second gen blazers didnt have a 4 banger. dont quote me on that. but i believe they where just to heavy for that. plus that would make one gutless pig of a car! some knowledge for ya.

  • not trying to talk shit but that looked like it was only 400 pounds couse 45x8=360+40 bar=400

  • 33in tires??

    blazer

  • My S10 couldnt do that lol

  • Did that Blazer have any drivetrain work done to it? or is it all stock?

  • BLAZER POWER!

  • sick blazer man

  • hey man where did you get a roof rack with the lights at?

  • Where did you get that roof rack? I want one. For my zr2 s10

  • AWSOME VID!

  • Is the wrangler 2wd

  • I was like dont slow down dont stop no no no oh he made it lol

  • 93-94 1st gen s10 blazers with the vortec engine ... they rock :D

  • 93-94 1st gen s10 blazers with the vortec engine ... they rock :D

  • how did you run the lights into your truck from the top?

  • that blazer was sweet!

  • that blazer was sweet!

  • well the interiors destroyed on the wrangler haha

  • y would u want to fuck up you trucks like that

  • thats pussy 4x4ing, half assing it up those sandy mountss just fucking uppa!!

  • theres technically 2 generations of s-series vehicles. the k5's are in a league of their own. although you cant get a 4 banger in 2nd gen blazer/jimmy/bravada

  • @blazinloud That's a lie, my 2000 s10 was a 4 banger. they make lots of them

  • @95turbohonda where did i say s10?????? reading ftw

  • @blazinloud Yes, there are 4 cylinder 2nd Gen blazers.... read up a little more... They're rare, but yes they exist

  • @95turbohonda uhm, prove it. quick google search yeilds nothing. ive been reading about blazers for over 5 years and have never once seen or heard of a 2nd gen blazer/jimmy/bravada

  • @blazinloud 1st gen is the older ones the box body style like 85 to 94 and 2nd gens are like the one in the vid. 95 to 2003

  • @powerstroke2504 95-2005 actually

  • @95turbohonda no, they dont

  • @95turbohonda sorry, never made a 4 cyl blazer, you may see them referred to as S10 blazers, but, you cannot get the 2.5L or 2.2L in the blazer, options as those are available in the s10's, the 2.2L is horribly sluggish in a lighter s10 and has no torque, to expect it to pull the heavier weight of a blazer would be absurd. If you do find a four cylinder powered blazer, it wasnt factory. please stick to your foreign four-cylinder-underpowered vehicles.

  • @95turbohonda i belive that it be a 2 door tho

  • @blazinloud I have never seen a 2nd gen 4 cyl blazer. s10 yeah, theyre everywhere, never a blazer

  • I DUN KNOW WHAT ARE YOU THINKIN?

  • when they were trying to pull that flipped truck they should have hooked it up yo yhe wrangler that would have taken it anywhere you wanted wranglers all the way!

  • stock wrangler<3, and what kind of rack is on top of the blazer?

  • stock wrangler<3

  • I know where that's at... I could see my scooter tracks.....

  • I was so proud of that little wrangler when I watched it go through that mud, water, and ice

  • I was so proud of that little wrangler when it went through

  • That blueberry hill in Exeter?

  • DAMN I WANT ONE NOW

  • the ZR2 sounds badass i wish mine sounded like that

  • the ZR2 sounds badass

  • was that the stock motor (V6) in that blazer?

  • what brand is the front bumper?

is it a stock bumper with attachment or a complete after market bumper?

  • that blazer is so sick. im fucking jealous.

  • The axles are wider.

The front a-arm mounting points are mounted 2" lower on the frame and pushed out about an inch in the front, giving the front the lift and wider track.

The rear leaf spring mount is larger in the back, giving the rear it's lift.

The larger mount drops the leaf spring down, kinda like putting a larger shackle, but it's stationary.

The front of the ZR2 frame is fully boxed.

The rear axle comes with a 28 spline 8.5" 10 bolt rear axle, instead of the 7.5".

  • How tall is the whip on the back? and What is the brand lift you have?

  • wait what year is that wrangler and is it 4x4

  • @xxpaintballxx08 it's a 97 wranlger, and they're all 4x4. Wranglers were never sold with a 2wd option

  • lol. that has to be the worst song ever to work out to.

  • do u have any problemes whit the IFS??

  • the differences are in the suspension. even i know that..and im 16.

  • УАЗ ни хуже

  • what size lift does the blazer have

  • 14fife your so fucking retarded. seriously, nothing is the same. every year there is something different on pretty much any vehicle. fucking retard.

  • oh my gosh, that jeep made the mud its bitch! lol

  • @14FIFE You are a dumbass! That's an s-10 blazer! Duh!

  • that blazer is done so nicely

  • tape over the mud riding FTW xD

  • what wuz up wit da benchpressin at da end, wut u guys uploaded over another vid and wuz put on hur on accident.

  • @296jayce Speak English Cum Catcher!

  • @DoErTillSheCumz yo nigga, so wut the fuck wuz i speakin, its the web, dont have 2 spell correct, wut r u, the youtube police, stfu faggot ass bitch.

  • @296jayce OK, E-Thug, look at everything you just typed... Now look at yourself in a mirror... See what's wrong?

You are a silly little white boy. Do you know how I know this? Street thugs (which you pretend to be) don't watch a bunch of white guys playing in the mud with an old truck!

You need to go back to the "Ghetto Side" of YT. Leave the peace and serenity (That's pronounced 'SIR REN A TEA', because I know your illiterate ass didn't know that) of the mud to us Normal people. Cum Catcher!

  • @DoErTillSheCumz dude, u know nothin about me, im not white, far from it, and who the hell cares, dont mean u hood, dont mean u cant like cars, and i know how to spell, i choose not to spell everything out, plus cum catcher, dude im not gay, and leave the peace, dude, u started me, so dont even try to make me sound bad, cuz u know nothing about me at all. im done talking to someone who i did not even start anything with

  • @296jayce that's one long on sentance

  • @95turbohonda how i speck and how i type r 2 different things, i jus type this way 2 use less characters, and cuz i dont like 2 say everything out. but i can actually type proper, like if i was talking 2 sum1 wit high power or sumthin.

  • nice!

  • THANK YOU! finnaly a good video!!

  • The muddin was kinda lame but the video was pretty good compared to the gay-ass bench pressing thrown in at the end.

  • o...ok so this is what you have to do to a s10 blazer just for it to be able to keep up with a stock jeep on A/T's

  • blazers!Great shoes! i have bought a blazer shoes,nice as well!nike blazer shoes ,my favorite,share with you,site:

    .airshoeline com

  • @14FIFE So what is it then if it is not an S series Blazer? And NO, they are not all the same, different models had different options available to them. They were not all identical.

  • @14FIFE that is an s10 blazers everything is the same as those and on s10s they replaced the regular blazers with tahoes so they call them s10 blazers

  • chido xD

  • What those vehicles were made for.

Since Government Motors replaced S10 Blazer with Equishitox you cant buy a blazer new. The Equinox would get stuck in a setting like that. Even with conventional AWD. 4WD is the best ever.

  • chevys put jeeps to shame...

  • gweetos with 4x4s thats funny they all sound like their from joysee....lol

  • это S15

  • need some new tires

  • 6 inch lift right? does it rub at all?

  • Comment removed

  • Still wondering how much lift is on that blazer and how you did it.

  • that is an s10 blazer. are you not american??

  • you are so very very mis informed. Everything is exactly the same on the 98-2005 s10's and blazers. The 2 doors, the 4 doors, the extended cabs, the regular cabs, ALL THE SAME vehicle. The older K5 blazer, and trailblazers are a different vehicle. The bravada and jimmy is also the same as the sonoma, and s10.

Same engines, same dashboards, same doors, same grills, same chassis, drivetrains, and rear ends, same options, same everything. You are so very dumb.

Care to back up your logic?

  • @95turbohonda....actually, and im not trying to argue, but i do have a 2000 s-10 blazer 4 door...and there is a slight difference between the ZR2 and the regular 4 door, or LS, or whatever you want to call it....the wheelbase on the ZR2 is less than the 4 door, also the ZR2 is 2 inches higher than the LS

  • @95turbohonda haha

  • @95turbohonda the only difference is the zr2 has bigger axle in the rear and different gears couple other minor things but basically the same yes

  • @95turbohonda actually zr2's have a different frame and rear end from normal s10's but 14fife is a complete idiot anyway

  • @95turbohonda wrong ZR2's have wider frames

  • @yamahagytrracing21 frames are the same width. Rear axle is wider, and front suspention is wider. Frames are the same.

  • @95turbohonda @yamahagytrracing21 incorrect. Frames are the same. Take a bed off a regular s10, mounts right onto a ZR2 frame. Same with a blazer body. Frame is the same. Suspention is different. Look it up.

  • @95turbohonda not every frame is the same. if thats what your talking about

  • @95turbohonda

Lockers in the plans in the near future? They make a world of difference.

  • @yamahagytrracing21 incorrect. Frames are the same. Take a bed off a regular s10, mounts right onto a ZR2 frame. Same with a blazer body. Frame is the same. Suspention is different. Look it up.

  • @95turbohonda man i laughed when i saw your comment! the drivetrains for the gmc jimmy or chevy blazer in 1998 ALONE had 4 different gear ratios. your logic is FUCKED. the only thing you said thats even close to rite is the fact that the motor are the same.

  • are you an idiot?>

  • real know real

  • How much lift is on that blazer and how did you do it. Adjusting the torsion bar or getting a lift kit?

  • nice i just got the same kind of hood for my blazer

  • wher is this?

  • I'd have sworn that TJ would never make it though that first mud hole about 1:30 into the video. Looks like stock tires...

GM offers a 3.4 high torque replacement engine for those old 2.8v6 powered blazers (and Cherokees)

  • uh... this gen blazer has the 4.3L vortec V6

and jeep is daimler chrysler, noy gm. but ya the jeep got lucky lol

  • I was speaking of the Cherokees having the GM 2.8v6 for a couple years back in the 1980s. The Cherokee was designed and built by AMC-Jeep for a few years, then Chrysler bought AMC, and was basically the same until '97 when they were 'Chryslerized'. I don't think any changes came from the Mopar-Benz times, that was when they were developing the Liberty. As for the S10 Blazers I think they used the 4.3 since around 1990, before then they used the 2.8.

  • what size of lift and tires are on this thing?

  • how do u get the red chevy bowtie

  • 200$ for a body lift (clears bigger tires, and heightens your rockers from rocks, etc)

20$ for lift shackles (rear leaf spring lift)

Or lift blocks (between axle and spring)

$Free, tighten up your front torsion arms for an extra 2" lift.

    4" lift for 220$ !!!!

Now you'll just need bigger tires

  • I have a 99 blazer, and I tightened my torsion bars and kept them that way for a week and a half, then I noticed the tread on the outside of my front tires vanishing. So I went to Pepboys and they told me that tightening the torsion bars adjusts the camber \---/ causing outside wear on the tires. So they put everything back to stock height and I was SOL. What did you do after tightening your torsion bars to keep everything in line?

  • i had an allignment done lol

  • awesome - stock wrangler, no lift, little tires made it through 2 ft of that muck!

  • After my blazer busted up the ice for it ;) Also, it wasn't really mud. The pond floor was pretty solid

  • i just took my 89 s-10 blazer with 4.3 v6 4x4 threw somethin like this killed it im tellin u those 4.3's r crazy only thing id rather have is full size bronco but for now ima roll with the lazer

  • the 4.3L vortec V6 was one of the most used motors in rock crawling buggy's, jeeps, etc it isnt the motor that sucks in a blazer it is the independent suspension. I wheeled an 86 s10 for years with a 2.8L v6 and could take it anywhere my friends would go in their jeeps but i would beat the hell out of it and myself now have a jeep and it is like night and day.

  • is that wrangler the 2.5 or 4.0?

  • 2.5 with a 5 speed

  • nice does it ever have trouble with power bc its not a 4.0? im lookin at wranglers thats why im askin

  • It's not too bad for city driving, but can barely do 75 on the highway. Offroad it's good, mostly due to its 4.11 factory gearing

  • ah alright im in the burbs lol

  • is that a 4.3 liter??

  • u ever done the light as a feather trick.. how can 4 people lift a body with one finger if there not a pulley system lol

  • listen fuckstick, the reason for the intake manifold gaskets going is a factory flaw, plastic gaskets that the dexcool gm antifreeze eats away over time. As far as the fuel pump, it is not the pump that goes bad, it is the wiring pigtail that has issues most of the time. Before you start giving advice, do your homework son. I would assume your idea of working on a vehicle it driving it through a carwash, so fuck off douche.

  • i bet the motors are loving all that water!!

  • @koolaid720 Water never got to the intakes~ If it did... NO MORE ENGINE!

  • now what if one of them got stuck? then one of u would have to go out into that fridged ass water an hook up a winch or strap an ur nuts would disapear! P.S. where did u get the roof rack an bull bar for the blazer?

  • It's time to wake up to "chemtrails". Search for it. This is important. It's a secret program. I filmed it myself. Check "Dont talk about the weather". Wake others!

  • YEAH KID! YYYYEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH!

  • that wrangler has no power to the wheels at all

  • D bag

  • nahhh

  • by far the best off road vid i have ever seen the best part when he walked thru the ice water thats crazy i want to see more of that jimmy do you have any more vids ????

  • sorry i mean blazer my bad

  • IFS is perfect for stuff like inthis video, moderate trailing, mudding, But i would go rock crawling with it. But then again i hate rock crawling, it breaks everything, it dont matter if its solid axle or ifs.

IFS actually gets better traction in a flex, cuz the tires complety flat, unlike solid, were the tire is on its edge.

  • Some IFS systems are much better than others, that is for sure. I was just pointing out that the ZR2 has a weak ass front end. It is just a piece of bad engineering, terrible front end design really. Anyone who says they are bad ass trucks is full of shit. They can be great off road, just have to either build and mod the IFS with 3/4 ton idler assembly and add major beef to the tie rods and drag link. Even doing all that, it is just easier to sell it and get a jeep.

  • The best thing to do, is do a SAS, its not hard at all. Me and my cuz did it to a 93

s10, and it was well worth it. We use the a xj axle, and we got some chevy 56'' springs, and some 1ton knuckles and did a hi steer kit. I dont mind IFS, but the best setup is coil solid axle 4 link. The only good thing about ifs, is when its lifted you got more center clearance.

  • ifs is stronger than most people think, i bag the shit out of my 03z with over 300hp and 35 swampers and havent killed it yet. i've seen WAY TO MANY busted axles and u-joints on solid front axles to call them superior. thiers a reason why 95% of new trucks made have ifs and NOT a solid axle

  • Yeah there is a reason for IFS---its cheaper for the producer of the vehicle. How do you get 300 HP out of a 4.3?? And you are telling me that you have 35's and no hub problems or idler arm problems?? If not, good for you, you are the first one I have ever heard of not having problems. Im thinking that your 300hp is bullshit though, it is very hard to get 300 hp out of a 4.3, in fact, if you put every bolt on mod there was, I do not think you would be close to 300.

  • seriously? look for the vids. thiers people with WAY more hp than me. they come with 200, squeezing another hundie or more isnt that hard, thiers over 50 alone with a proper port & polish with bigger valves

  • 50 hp from port and polish and valves, I am thinking maybe 20. Add headers, exhaust, CAI, throttle body, and maybe you have got 50 hp gain if you are lucky. Get ECM flashed, maybe another 10 or 15 with torque mgt removed. 300 is a hard number in 4.3 with stock internals and naturally aspirated, that is all I am saying. Fuck, for the money you spend to get 300 out of a 4.3, you could have just done a 5.7 sway and been ahead of the game.

  • you should check out this great little power adder called a supercharger, thier awesome. expensive as hell, but AWESOME! why all the hate with you and everyone here anyway? if you hate your zr2 then sell the damn thing and get something you want. i dont like jeeps but i dont watch jeep vids and tell people what pieces of shit they are, i cant be bothered to hate, know what i mean?

  • Ever heard the saying "There is no replacement for displacement"? It holds true, in due time you will figure it out. You cant just slap on your beloved supercharger and pound 8lbs of boost, that shit wont happen. Add more robust internals, head studs, and then you have a fuel problem that you have to remedy. What I am getting at is why?? It is a 4.3, a good motor yes, a powerhouse---NO. I guess you could spend thousands on a 4.3 and get in the 300 hp range, I just fail to see the point.

  • 4.3's have been know to make a good amount of power. yes they do take some internal re working. so you do make a valid point.

  • Yeah, not bashing the 4.3, but some people on here are so full of shit it is disgusting. Just because you read a magazine and see a engine build writeup, this doesn't make you a expert. My advice to these people. Move out of mommy and daddy's house and get a fucking life.

  • id have to agree with you yet again lol.

  • This is why i hate forums

  • and you might wanna ask a performance machiene shop about uncorking vortec heads, your 20 hp comment made me shit myself i laughed so fuckin hard!

  • Why ask when I already know. What realistic numbers do you think you will bet, 70 hp. If so, keep smoking on the pipe man. Hell, trick flow heads on my 5.7 only yielded like 30 hp at the crank, so reworked vortec heads are going to disappoint you in a big way. I do not hate the Zr2's, just hate the way they were designed really. If you have no clue what I am talking about, then you havent replaced the entire IFS parts like I have. If you keep it long enough, you will see what I am preaching here

  • While I'm with you on the fact that it's more work than it's worth to most, I absolutely love 4.3's. I'd personally find it worth it

  • 4.3 is a good motor for sure, but never will be a high performance motor, was never intended to be high performance.

  • FINALLY! someone that KNOWS how to drive it like they stole it offroad, no peddle-pussys in this vid, nicely done fellas! you should be called the no pussy club. WHEEL IT HARD OR WHEEL IT HOME!!!

  • I miss this
