Briney and Christina are legend. Beyonce is being recognized for her performances album sales and radio play. Although Brit and Xtina have been out as long as Beyonce has, THEY DON'T MAKE AS MUCH NOISE AS SHE DOES. If there were 3 arenas in one state and Brit, Bey and Xtina were playing in each of them. there's no doubt about it that beyonce would have the packed arena. she out sings and out dances britney, and she shells out more hits than christina. and this is not a biased opinion.

BTW, Bey is the only one to win the legend award twice. With DC and as a solo artist. An amazing accomplisment. Not even Diana has done that and she was with the Supremes and we know how big they were.

No, it's because of Academy Rule 16 implemented by the Academy Association in 2005, which states that only 3 writers on a song are able to receive the actual trophy version of an Oscar, there were four writers on Listen, Beyonce, Henry Krieger, Scott Cutler, Anne Preven.. The Association picked the latter 3, because it really wouldn't have made a difference if she got the Oscar, Beyonce's known for singing the song! Guess gossip isn't a reliable source after all, LOL!
