  • I have a 2010 Dodge Ram standard cab and I'm putting Steelcraft nerf bars on it. The only thing is that I would like to know how the bars are installed. The part number is #222707P

  • Unfortunatly, I don't have the part number for the bars. They are identical in appearance to the ones in the video, for a quad cab with 2 step pads per bar. They mount exactly the same; to the forward and rear cab mounts. The factory bolt is not long enough, that must be why you say it's not reused. I will need to find a 12mmx1.75 110mm length. I sourced washers though. These bars required drilling 2 holes and self-tapping bolts to secure the support straps to the floorBoard gussets.

  • Is this installation the same when using westin nerf bars on a 1994-2002 dodge ram?just wondering if the cab mount bushing and washer stays or just the bushing like the chevy. Also I have offset brackets for the steps: no spacer ring as seen here.

  • If you could let me know the part number of the Westin tube steps you are reffering to I will provide more specific information. I looked up instructions for several nerf bar kits for 94-02. The installation, if they are frame-mounted, will be similar to the Ram. All parts that were removed from the vehicle, besides the bolt, should be reinstalled if it is not specified that they be removed to install the nerf bars. Remember, you must always abide by the instructions incluede with the nerf bars.
