How interesting. I'm interested in contrails too and have only recently begun to video some of them. After gathering a few months' worth I'll put together a video to post on YouTube.

Hard to believe....when you first came to town..even back then...I began loving my seeing such contrails....in fact....when you first came to town..I even saw them in Montevideo, Uruguay.....right from the hotel penthouse...aaaahhh....what memories... anyways..Merry Christmas, George...to you, Kris, and Chelsea!!!

I remember my being down in Florida..and my seeing lotsa jet contrails....when I was 12 years OLD then.....near St Augustine...it was awesome! BTW..no Tstorms here lately although I did hear thunder HERE on 12/12/10. I did get thunder here on Chistmas Day, 12/25/02...real dark skies...incredible..it rained here...but only 2 hours' drive to my NW...they had 3 feet of snow same day.... hope your holidays will be wonderful.
@LuvsTstormTapes LAWLZ we do get very many contrails. Especially in orlando, where I live. One day in the early morning, I was in the school yard and saw about 1/4 of the sky covered in ccirrostratus, cirrocumulus and contrails. Eventually they sank, which I knew was the sign of an approaching front. :P James I love your vids. They PWN, like lightning. Because they have lightning in them LOL XDD. anyways we have a lot of sunny, cloudless days, with the occasional day of a stratussy or continued.
@LuvsTstormTapes ... nimbostratussy days. Well thats winter here for ya. I am in india now. Weather is pleasant. I am sayng ONLY the weather. I hate india itself. Long story. Pollution.Yes, thats the one word that basically describes this landfill... but I digress. I'll watch any vid of yours (considering if it is appropriate or not :P) good luck taping storms!
Nice contrails! I went to the mall that day in Holyoke. Saw cirrus and cirrostratus and I think altostratus and altocumulus along with some blue skies.
