Using little kids to prop up their entitlement rants is common in Wisconsin public union circles, didn't you know that? They can't help it, they're mental midgets who can't stay employed unless they're propped up by the union. Otherwise, they'd be smoking cigarette butts from the Walmart parking lot, and eating out of the garbage cans at McDonald's.
Good for you Emma! Your courage is a spirited rebuttal to Walker's scripted demagoguery - the false pageantry used to inspire mindless followers, people fooled by television ads and hate filled rhetoric. People who will stoop to calling a little girl a skank because they don't agree with her politics. People who would feel right at home stoning an independent minded young woman in Afghanistan because someone in power inspired and approved such behavior. I thank my stars American freedoms exist.
@bluesingincat A thirteen-year old getting involved in this way is wonderful! God knows, most kids at that age couldn't care any less about politics and that's plain wrong. If more kids kew more about the political system and less about Justin Beiber we'd all be a lot better for it.
@blortner God knows, a 13 year old does not have the experience or maturity to intelligently involve themselves in politics, or understand delivering a hateful "Christmas card" to another human being has consequences. Teaching a child about politics, and teaching a child to be hateful as a valid way to express it, are 2 different things. Emma's parents were not taught the difference. Emma will respect her parents about as much as they taught her to respect others. Karma is a bitch.
@tpo828 Go ahead, encourage her journey into adult skankhood. "false pageantry"? "scripted demagoguery"? Ask Emma if she knows what those two phrases mean, then get back to me. I won't be holding my breath.
You know what ladyforward1? You think using a child to disrupt a holiday tradition that people attend to get in the holiday spirit strengthens your case. You think it's "cute" being petty and vile for vengeance. Keep it up. It makes Walker supporters look normal, fair and right. Thank you very much. You prove Walker and all of his supporters are right about public union slugs like you.
@bluesingincat: No one "used" the girl. She knew what she was doing and is a conscientious young lady who is very intelligent and caring. As far as "disrupting" the ceremony by handing a sheet of paper to the person who supposedly represents everyone in Wisconsin, your sensibilities are skewed.
Thank you, Ladyforward for a great piece of history.
@plankyob How old is the little girl skankybob? What 10, maybe 11? And she fully understands the whole union vs private sector battle, huh? Oh sure. She is being trained to hate, to be disrespectful, to be a SKANK. The sheet of paper was a recall Walker card. You think Governor Walker isn't aware that he's being recalled? You HAVE NO sensibilities. These union cry babies can't even leave Christmas alone. They're pathetic, and so are you.
@bluesingincat She is thirteen and knew exactly what she was doing and what she was doing it for. I wish more teenagers were politically aware. I'm 64 and I first took an interest when I was maybe seven during the Eisenhower years. There was a real President who would have condemned the actions of Republicans of today.
@blortner Oh sure. If she follows your example she'll never get past the "aware" stage. There are no "real Republicans", or "real Democrats". Let me know if you ever get past your "aware" phase. You're 64 and you still have only a rudimentary understanding of government, history, and politics. You also have primitive sensibilities when it comes to acceptable behavior towards other human beings. I don't hold out much hope for you.
Whats the fine for littering in the capitol? And this scumbag thinks he can stop/crush the recall? Pack your bags with all the loot you can stuff in em Scottie because the People of Wisconsin are coming to throw you out.
This is good, but I would edit a version showing just the disrespect toward Emma - too much to wade through otherwise, and I think the shorter piece could go viral.

@bluesingincat And when she starts treating her parents the same way, how I wish I could be a fly on the wall to witness their shock and dismay at what a self centered, hateful and rude child they raised.

@mulvennk Emma will grow up to be a mean spirited, self pitying, rude, self absorbed, and disrespectful waste of skin, just like her parents.

Someone pointed this out on facebook - that's not Walker's handler who throws down the message. He's the chief clerk of the assembly.
