hey, i heard out that the fanning powder is not good for the deck health, i mean ppl say that the powder make the deck accumulates little balls of dirty, it makes it all clumpsy after a little time.
can you confirm it, cause my new deck do not fan really nice, and im thinking in use the fanning powder on it, but i use it to do some magics.
@wolf77br Fanning power is good for fanning and extends your deck's life. Unpowdered decks may last me a week while a powdered one lasts me a month. However, if you put too much or too little fanning powder on your deck, then you're going to have problems. It only works well if you have the right ammount and you powder it the right way. For my own method on powdering, pm me and i'll write out the steps for you
You have a great future in cardistry MS9! You say you suck and I think that you KNOW that you don't. There's always room for improvement though. for all of us!
Question:
You go to so much trouble to make sure that we understand all the little problems, but you never show us the back of the fan. HOW ARE YOU RETRACTING THE FAN SO QUICKLY?? Please let me know. Thanks!
The pressure fan is a real bitch to teach. There's not much to explain, it's just a knack really. There are other tutorials out there, watch those. Then it's all up to practice.
hey thx for this video! even though im not that good im still practicing. At first i couldnt even make a circle but now its in a circle but really messed. I only practiced for like 10 mins right now ^_^ thx again
Uh....... this is a two hand fan as it uses the left hand to hold it and the right hand thumb to make the fan. A smear fan is a classic one hand fan. Jerry Calls it the One Hand Manipulation Fan.
I've seen all the fanning guides on Xb1 and this is the exact fan that Jerry teaches.
my deck is sooo uncool -_- it falls out in clumps :(

great tutorial man. this has been a pain to learn for ages but this tuturial helps!

can u do it in any hand because i am a righty
Left4deadman12 3 years ago
So am i.
Right handed people hold the deck in their left hand mechanics grip, so the right hand is free to do other stuff (turn over a card, deal cards)
Fanning is the same. Right handed people hold the fan in their left hand. If you do it in your right hand, the fan will be blank.
