  • my deck is sooo uncool -_- it falls out in clumps :(

  • best tutorial i've found(:

  • thanks, this helped me a lot with my problems

  • Why haven't you shown a tutorial for the pressure fan yet?

  • thanks for the tutorial! yours was a lot clearer than others i've seen, and provided a lot more tips.

  • My cards clump together and they're brand new bikes. O.o

    My technique must be off.

  • hey, i heard out that the fanning powder is not good for the deck health, i mean ppl say that the powder make the deck accumulates little balls of dirty, it makes it all clumpsy after a little time.

can you confirm it, cause my new deck do not fan really nice, and im thinking in use the fanning powder on it, but i use it to do some magics.

    thank you.

  • @wolf77br Fanning power is good for fanning and extends your deck's life. Unpowdered decks may last me a week while a powdered one lasts me a month. However, if you put too much or too little fanning powder on your deck, then you're going to have problems. It only works well if you have the right ammount and you powder it the right way. For my own method on powdering, pm me and i'll write out the steps for you

  • how do you close your fan with 1 hand?

  • Yay my hands grew know the card doesn't get stuck.

  • We got the same deck ^_^

  • Good explanation but my hands are too tiny and the top card keeps getting stuck. =(

  • very neat

  • one tip: dont automatically blame the cards for a clump fan, my deck sucks a fat one, and it still works perfectly. its practice!

  • THANK YOU!

  • whats fan powder and how can i get it :P nice video

  • you're a good teacher

this is the best thumb fan tutorial ever!!!

  • the last tipp is great

  • FANtastic!

  • Thank you soo much you helped me alot with this. Now my thumb fan looks better thank you. I subed rated and commented =[)

  • i hate my deck

  • THE BEST THUMB FAN TUTORIAL EVER!!

  • u rock!

  • what exactly is fanning powder?

  • You have a great future in cardistry MS9! You say you suck and I think that you KNOW that you don't. There's always room for improvement though. for all of us!

    Question:

You go to so much trouble to make sure that we understand all the little problems, but you never show us the back of the fan. HOW ARE YOU RETRACTING THE FAN SO QUICKLY?? Please let me know. Thanks!

  • 5/5, excellent tutorial.

  • Comment removed

  • thats cause you need to make a bigger fan if you use good cards, what cards do you use? are they poker size?

  • thank you! very detailed tutorial.. i need a lot more practice^^

  • i can't find your pressure fan tutorial

  • I don't have one =P

  • are u going to? you said you would. i can't get mine to go around more than 100 degrees!

  • The pressure fan is a real bitch to teach. There's not much to explain, it's just a knack really. There are other tutorials out there, watch those. Then it's all up to practice.

  • hey thx for this video! even though im not that good im still practicing. At first i couldnt even make a circle but now its in a circle but really messed. I only practiced for like 10 mins right now ^_^ thx again

  • great tutorial 5/5

  • that is called a smear fan jsut for clarification. A thumb fan is the two handed fan that jerry teaches on XB1

  • Uh....... this is a two hand fan as it uses the left hand to hold it and the right hand thumb to make the fan. A smear fan is a classic one hand fan. Jerry Calls it the One Hand Manipulation Fan.

I've seen all the fanning guides on Xb1 and this is the exact fan that Jerry teaches.

  • oh sorry

    my apologies

i didnt watch the whole video

and my sound wasnt on either

so i just saw you doing a bunhchof smear fans and was confused

next time i'll watch before saying something stupid

  • great tutorial man. this has been a pain to learn for ages but this tuturial helps!

  • can u do it in any hand because i am a righty

  • So am i.

Right handed people hold the deck in their left hand mechanics grip, so the right hand is free to do other stuff (turn over a card, deal cards)

Fanning is the same. Right handed people hold the fan in their left hand. If you do it in your right hand, the fan will be blank.

  • wat is the name of ur deck btw and where did u get it?? nice vid btw 5/5

  • bicycle centurions u can get it at theory 11

  • hi

at the begin of the vid u said that you powder for your deck? those it mean that the powder is specially for your deck?

i guess not but u never know

  • Ya its fanning powder, you can buy it at any magic store and it makes your fans and spreads a lot better.

  • powder?

  • dude thank you but were do you get fanning powdter

  • You can get it at any magic store. Or just buy it online. It rather cheap, like $5 a bottle.
