I remember when I was doing 20 mins :) I even searched for a comment about 1 month ago and I found myself saying I have just learned how to solve!

Keep solving until your beginner method gets down to around 1-1.5 then search for BADMEPHISTO and learn off him if you consider solving much faster :)

i recommend learning finger tricks (turning the cube with flicks of your fingers rather than your entire wrist) re-gripping less often will also help your times. check out my channel.

i think that solving it, even blindfolded is not proving a great intelligence, only a good memory. what would be more impressive would be someone like lars petrus or someone who actually figured it out without the help of a computer, because otherwise you r pretty much using someone elses brain to solve it

The common misconception about rubik's cubes is that you don't need to have an amazing intelligence to do them. You need an average memory for the algorithms(at basic level) and good hand eye coordination.

It only proves your intelligence when you move into blindfolded and the more advanced systems to solve it. I think that once you reach the level of Fridrich method you have proven either your dedication or your intelligence.
