  • Hi im working on an animation and I just need 1 tip, "What do I set the smoothing of the brush too?" When I set it to any it looks realy messy please help.

  • @Eggyfartscartoons That depends. Which version of Flash are you using?

  • @argstudio Now unfortunatly I can't afford adobe flash so I use "Macromedia Flash 8"

  • @Eggyfartscartoons I recommend you post your question in a forum like the one at FlashKit dot com, because we don't have that version in our studio anymore. Good luck!

  • @argstudio This question relates to all versions.

  • @Eggyfartscartoons I use smoothing on 40 - 45. It doesn't do an excellent job, but it gets the smoothest line for my style and technique. Even so, there is usually a lot of line clean up to do regardless.

  • Im out of words like this video

  • Artists must have been a dime a dozen to draw all the inbetweens.

  • @RATHAHONNI Apparently they weren't, because the inbetweens still are not done!

    :D

  • Tacnac100 holy fuck ure an idiot

  • @tacnac100 Um, Adobe Flash??

  • whats the program do u use to do that animation ??

  • nice

  • Traditional 2d animation cannot be beaten and flash is a great tool for it,too bad many artits go for the symbol/motion tween animation approach.

  • @ Spazumify

Oh yeah, it's done every day, just not by us. We're more into the classic style of Warner Bros. and MGM cartoons.

    :D

  • Could you do this with anime too?

  • good teeth on the lil dude.

  • @0dent thanks, he has a sonicare toothbrush. please come back again very soon and comment about everybody's teeth.

    :D

  • Nice - I'd love to see a timelapse of the entire animation process- like the "Animating Citrapop" one I did. :D I'm assuming these are just the keys you have here?

  • @awinchell Thanks! Yeah, I would like to see that, too. And yes, this is just the keys, and I suppose we should have said so, but we didn't want to get all wordy.

    :D

  • I know that set from somewhere...

  • @PointguardDan87 Thanks a bunch to Daniel Janis, writer/producer of "The Pandas" for the use of his kitchen from "Pandah-kah."

The kitchen BG is copyright 2009, Daniel Janis.

    :)
