dont know why the zero is so popular in the japanese community, its zero armour and low speed practically made it a flying coffin in the late air battles,
The A6M series zero was a 1938 design...by 1943 it was outclassed by the newer Corsairs & Hellcats. The N1K2 Shiden-Kai on the other hand faired much better...it had a 2000HP engine, 4 x 20mm cannons and unique combat flaps. Genda's infamous 343 Kaigun Kokutai downed many Corsairs & Hellcats over southern Japan flying Shiden-Kai's .

補充したのは7.7mm弾かな?携帯弾数が700発だから20mmよりは連射できたらしいが・・・

Zero were just paper kites~ It is over-rated in the same way as all other Jap stuff.

What Movie was it from? I saw on the Zeke's Tail the markings for the 853 Kokotai.hich I'm not familiar with.
Pretty optimistic gunnery. One pass on a B-24, 20 rounds of 12.7, and, poof!
Still, I like it! Give Us More!
